Coming into the game, you knew this wasn’t going to be pretty. Facing a playoff team (albeit playing without Kyrie Irving) the Warriors announced prior to the game that they would be holding both Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson out as they awaited an “imminent” trade.
That’s Golden State’s second-leading scorer and primary wing defender. With those players on the court, the Warriors are still the worst team in the league by a fair margin; without them, it got ugly quick.
Ah well, chalk this up as a tank victory and move on.
On the bright side, here’s an extremely heart-warming moment shared between Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.
Post game thread of mourning - Warriors blasted 88-129 in loss to Nets; the tank rolls onward!
