Post game therapy: Warriors drop a close one to Celtics, Looney rolls an ankle
The hits just keep on coming. No, not like a radio station, more like a boxer...
The Golden State Warriors fell short, dropping to the Boston Celtics with a final score of 111-107. It was an entertaining game filled with back and forth lead changes, but in the end, the Warriors just couldn’t string together another push to come back after a late Boston run.
The big news on the night is Kevon Looney’s rolled ankle. Sustained late in the 2nd quarter, Looney played through it for a little bit but was ultimately pulled, and did not return at all in the second half. With the Warriors already tremendously short handed in the frontcourt, Looney’s ankle roll could not have come at a worse time.
After the game, coach Steve Kerr said Looney would be out “a couple of games” which means the Warriors are about to get very creative with their “bigs” rotation. Without Chriss, Wiseman, or Looney, the Warriors are going to be forced to choose from a bunch of non-ideal solutions.

Curry though? Just flat out dope.
Another bright spot was Oakland’s own, Juan Toscano-Anderson. Really glad this kid is getting some time.
We’ll have more on this game tomorrow. For now, go ahead and drop your three team trades that cost the Warriors Oubre and a second round pick below. Thanks.
The Warriors have a lot of problems to solve, and not a lot of pens and calculators available to help solve the math.

Mavericks beat the Hawks today 112-106. Mavs' starters played a lot of minutes. I wonder if it's gonna affect the way they're gonna play tomorrow?
This thread feels like Reddit or GSOM with all the whining. We were looking good, then we lost our only remaining big man. On to the next game
