Post game party thread: Warriors win a wild one in OT
Golden State pulls off an exciting home win - a badly needed win
The Golden State Warriors needed overtime, but in the end, they managed to hold off the Milwaukee Bucks at home, coming away with an impressive (if messy) 125-116 win. Featuring a ton of key plays from the Splash Brothers down the stretch, this was one of those random games that turned out to be a really, really fantastic one to watch.
There’s something about that Chase Center home cooking!
Stephen Curry played 43 minutes. 36 points on 27 shots is decent enough, but man oh man, his block against Jrue Holiday to send the game to overtime was the one that had me yelling the loudest. What a privilege to get to watch this all time great play basketball for our favorite team.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Warriors game this season if there weren’t struggles. Draymond Green rolled his ankle badly, but toughed it out to finish the game. Jordan Poole was looking extremely wobbly, and unless I’m mistaken, didn’t see a moment of floor time during OT.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Now, I gotta run friends, there’s a mosh pit with my name on it in San Francisco. Let’s party!
these guys in the nba have such amazing closeout speed and wingspan that it’s hard to out quick them without being crafty with your finish. JP has to be more clever at times. maybe a floater or be like steph and use your body instead of the underhand scoop.
Go Knicks… this time with feeling.
