The Golden State Warriors smashed the Sacramento Kings, sweeping them by winning all four regular season matchups. The Kings pushed back late but couldn’t surmount the big deficit.
Really great all around game from a Warriors team that was resting heavy chunks of their rotation.
Bjelica revenge game vs his former team:
19 PTS (season high)
12 REBS (season high)
6 ASTS
2 BLKS
7-11 FG (63.6%)
3-6 3PT FG (50.0%)
2-2 FT (100%)
Love to see it
50 wins baby!
My takeaways from the game:
1. Can't get too excited about the win. Kings' defense was practically nonexistent and their offense was minimal. Looked like they weren't really trying at either end.
2. I have no idea why, but Nemanja seems to shoot 3's much better when he's 2-3 ft beyond the arc.
3. In the last 3 games, the Dubs should feature JFK in the low block just to mess with their playoff opponents' scouting reports. Even if they don't do it so much during playoff games, the opponents will need to respect the danger and perhaps double team him when he gets the ball, resulting in passes to the perimeter for open looks to Klay, Steph, Poole, or Wiggs.
