Let's not forget that truly pure team is built for the playoffs, we are built on defense and 3pt shooting and in the playoffs when the whistle gets swallowed we are a force to be reckoned with.

Most of warriors playoff history is focused on the finals against the cavs and curry not winning finals mvp, but outside of the finals curry is one of the best playoff performers of all times and we have completely decimated a shit ton of teams. Those thunder, grizzlies and rockets teams were championship winning caliber teams and we sent them into rebuild mode even before KD.

It's going to take a lot to beat us in the playoffs with or without a healthy squad

Starting lineup last night proved the obvious. The Warriors system requires a primary/secondary ball handler besides Curry. There shouldn't ever be a single minute played without 2 of (Curry, Dray, Poole, Andre) on the floor at the same time. Curry's having the freedom to move off ball is the key to their offense. He is the whisk that whips up the Hollandaise (defense) and he can't do that with an egg (ball) in his hands (aka, hands).

And we shouldn't worry about size at the 1-2-3, we have 6'3"-6'5"-6'7" starting last night. That's fairly average, and good enough if you consider a future with Green, JK, Looney & Wiseman behind them. It doesn't matter if Poole starts or comes off the bench. What matters is that either he or Dray is riding side saddle with Curry when he is on the floor.

Well I guess this game shows why it's pretty important for the Warriors to finish with as good of a record as possible, because that's yet another impressive home performance. The rebounding differential especially considering the starting lineup is pretty amazing, looks like everyone who played real minutes got 5.

Just got through watching the game on replay. Wow.

Good times again here in the kingdom. I have to say I got a little out of sorts in February, but wow, the last six games have been one Poole party after another.

Last night I saw the team I was hoping for at the beginning of the season. Stop Curry, you let Klay and Jordan and Wiggs kill you. Over-emphasize perimeter defense, get outrebounded. I'm salivating thinking what this team's going to be like when you throw Dray, Dre, and OPJ into the mix. And Wiseman, if he's the least bit effective.

Milwaukee's missing some good players, too, but is adding Lopez, Hill, and Connaughton really going to matter as much to them as adding Draymond, Dre, and OPJ is to us? (And maybe Wiseman, I can dream.)

This has been such a fascinating season to watch. Hopeful that some very good things will unfold in the last few weeks.

I can't even imagine next year when Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman mature a bit, and Poole a bit more. This team has the potential of striking terror into the rest of the league.

After playing Monday and Wednesday, the Warriors will have a three (!) day break before playing their final home game before the brutal five games in seven days road-trip, followed by a single day off and then Phoenix at home. It will be a good time to get some bodies back as that trip features two back-to-backs.

We really got the good versions of Wiggins, Poole, and Klay to show up on the same night? Rest in pieces, defending champs!

Also felt like a much friendlier whistle compared to the last two Denver games. Giannis got to the line a lot, but those were generally deserved. He got away with one on Looney; Klay got away with one on him—two wrong calls don't make a right, but at least they weren't all one-way. Vs Denver it felt like a couple stretches there all the judgement calls went in the Nuggets' favor. (I'm still relieved we came away with the win there, tired Nuggets or not.)

It feels like madness that a team that just played this well is getting back Draymond Green, Gary Payton II, Otto Porter Jr, *and* a couple more guys to boot. With how well both rookies have been handling themselves as of late, the lineup juggling is going to be extremely tough.

Jordan Poole season TS%: .599. That's, uh, pretty good young fella. Steph's only at .597. Poole is starting to look a lot like his preseason self, which is really, really good. Basically Steph-lite with a nice shot instead of the best shot of all time. I'm back to all in on the kid.

Had my vanilla ice cream after the game but I’ve solved the math behind the Multiple Vanilla Ice Cream Bowl Alternative Universe Basketball Inversion Equation (the DuBsABoOM Theorem). All who wish to be indoctrinated just fill up your bowl and join the party. Hey, I’m talking frozen custard here! Anyway …

I was kinda thinking the Bucks shot for sh$t but they put up 39% from 3 compared to our 40%. So how did we win? Was it the 55 - 39 on the boards (all hail Kuminga!)? Or the 93% Free Throw shooting compared to their 37% (all hail Poole). Or Klay Unstoppable for 38 points? Or Looney out-battling Giannis on the block? Or Wiggie’s 21 points on 16 attempts? Or Curry’s brilliant court playmaking (unmeasurable)?

Answer: YES.

Best game in quite some time. Go Dubs! And more vanilla ice cream!

Moral of the story: keep doubling and playing tough defense on Curry, and Poole, Klay, Wiggins, and the others will make you pay.

I’m so proud of Jordan. He’s gone through so much turmoil and change this year, from blitzing the preseason to struggling coming out of the gate, finding his playmaking rhythm, going out with COVID, figuring it how to work with Klay, getting stuck with tough lineups, and now he’s the guy running the show with Steph and Klay on the court… think about that. That’s crazy.
