The Golden State Warriors had a chance to put the game away, but Stephen Curry’s shot was errant, extending the game to overtime. Then, in the extra frame, it was a series of unfortunate events. Jaylen Brown got randomly hot. Klay Thompson picked up his sixth foul on a fairly innocuous play.
But still, the Warriors had a chance to steal a win against a Boston Celtics team that has been one of the best in the NBA so far during this regular season. Boston definitely came out “needing” the win, and they got it. Nothing easy in this league!
The Warriors missed Kuminga a lot, but one way or another, you’ve got to give credit to Tatum’s big night.
That’s eight wins in a row for the Celtics, and no wins in a row for Golden State. Tomorrow’s a fresh new day. A glorious Friday no less?
Let’s try again tomorrow. Same bat time, same bat channel.
