First time in forever I get to see a game without spoilers and I get this... Le' Sigh...

On a side note: Could we please lock up GP2 for many years.

One temporary issue is Klay's minutes. For good reason, they have penciled in Klay's minutes as part of the process to get him into full game shape. The problem is, Klay's minutes are prioritized over everything else, so our rotations are taking a back seat to Klay's rehab minutes - which can have a domino effect down the roster. Unfortunately, there is no way to get around this. It's just going to be a process and it's not gonna pretty sometimes. But as Warriors fans, we should know as well as anyone, what matters is how we are playing at the end of the season. So get Klay healthy, let the young guys get run, fast track Wiseman when he returns, rest vets when needed. We're playing chess, not checkers. It's all about the end game. After that "I just threw up in my own mouth" game, we have to remind ourselves, there is a master plan to have all the right players on the board in all the right spots at the right time. Pardon me, I need to rinse.

Can we amnesty steve kerr or did that expire in the lockout season

Is there a way to forward the memory wipe / blinding light to the rest of the internet?

Waking up to all these notifications about this Ws game is unpleasant and counteracts the amnesia that had been working so nicely.

a. On offense, in critical situations, if you need A Point, a single point, Curry, Poole and Kuminga should be on the floor. All three can draw a foul and I trust JK to make one of two.

b. On defense, in critical situations, if you just need a stop, you have better options than Curry. It's not that he totally blew the in bounds coverage at the end of regulation, leaving the in-bounder a gentle morning stroll up to a wide open 3, it's that that wasn't the first time he did that in this game. Twice, our MVP candidate, just blew his coverage on an in bounds play resulting in 6 easy points.

I understand Kerr is trying to teach his rooks lessons. You don't want to send the message that "you can screw up, but we need you so we are going to play you anyway." But can we be a bit more nuanced. Can we sit him for most of the second half as punishment and still tell him we love him and yes, "let's get you in there for this critical play because we believe in you".

We all know Curry's style of play, his great play, comes with a fair share of head-scratchers. That's the way it has been, is and will always be. But I have to hang this one on Kerr solely and it's a bad one considering it's the front end of a back-to-back and he is supposed to be managing minutes. It's stubbornness from Kerr. He has a history of letting "proving a point" dictate rotations rather than "what is needed in the moment on the floor". Like Curry (lazy-ass turnovers) & Draymond (Mr. Temper-tantrum), Kerr has his own Achilles Heel. Greatness usually comes at a cost and Kerr does some great things as a coach, no doubt. Kerr's rotations and subbing can be a bit perplexing sometimes and he can be stubborn in the moment. But if that is the cost for all the good Kerr brings overall, I'm willing as a fan to take the L, eat my feelings, grumble a bit, and just move on to the next game.

Youtube highlights of James Wiseman's best plays last year is always helpful.

So apparently Kerr told them to play straight that last possession in regulation.

Makes even less sense why GP2 was not out there for Curry.

BTW, yesterday it was the 400th sellout in a row, across Oracle/Chase. That’s what, 8 seasons? The players should feel a special sense of responsibility due to that, like they were entering a cathedral. Yesterday only Curry, GP2 and Loon showed that respect.

It's interesting, can anyone see why in the second half JK got completely benched? One of the most frustrating things about that game was watching a team of rookies and G Leaguers on back to back legs figure out how to completely take apart the Warriors' rim protection and get whatever lobs, putbacks, and drives straight to the basket they wanted as the game went on.

When I was watching the second half, I think I sort of rewrote history in my head and convinced myself Kuminga had really screwed up, and it was a no brainer Kerr wasn't playing him the rest of the game. But rewatching the beginning of the third again, the worst mistakes look like

1) Insanely terrible full court pass from Steph straight to Pacers.

2) Looney getting a pass from Klay, takes it to trouble and gets surrounded by most of the defense while pump faking, then gets stuck for 3 seconds in the paint.

3) Kuminga tries to rotate to help defense when Loon and Wiggs have been beaten in the pick and roll, and is a step late, giving up an and-one.

4) Wiggs helps off the corner, and Kuminga's surprise double team isn't effective enough to stop the Pacers' center from passing out of it, and then the ball finds the corner for a wide open three.

Aside from those mistakes, it seems like the Pacers hit a tough step back three and some other shots to catch up. JK was then taken out 3 1/2 minutes into the quarter, and never put back in the game, even when Bjeli was all alone inside giving up lobs and putbacks every possession.

I feel like JK must have been making much worse mistakes than what I've seen to get pulled so quickly and so completely. I'd love to know what mistakes everyone else sees in those first three minutes of the third quarter?

Considerations:

- we’re not championship or WC contenders. Sorry to say, WE WERE lucky with the first parte of the season schedule.

- I don’t understand. To increase shooting % one must simply shoot. A lot. Why the team doesn’t make ossessive-compulsive session of shooting?

- Why the f**k did Kerr forget on the bench JK that was playing so well, and MM that does 35 ppg for the tridents? Could they have done worse than 22% shooting from three, and 15 turnovers?

- Maybe it was indeed too early for Klay rito return.

This game wasn’t that fun to watch despite Steph going off and GP2 throwing down, and Duarte and Looney doing work too, mainly because the refs decided to blow the whistle every possession and keep the game choppy. It was very disappointing to see that zebras really can’t change their stripes. Even when MJ tells them to.

WTF was Curry even in the game with 8 seconds left up 3? Why not insert GP2?

Leaving Holliday was awful.

This is the first loss this season that has made me angry. I am usually okay with losses- they happen. But this one is hard to take. I am in such a foul mood and it's not even 10am! An embarrassing loss. That should've been over by the 3rd quarter and Moody gets a run. Start him against the Rockets.

I haven't seen one comment about how great looney was and how ridiculous it was that kerr took him out for jta against a young athletic center that looney could have destroyed

Kerr is a phenomenal coach at managing egos, PT, getting great assistants. But he is god-awful at managing close games where good coaching wins a game. The Warriors in the last two years have lost at least 3 games because they don't foul up 3. It's a really bad look when fucking Fitz has a better grip of strategy than your head coach. Absolutely inexcusable.

That said, the person losing us games right now is sadly Klay. He's taking a ton of shots and not hitting the percentage we need. Unfortunately the only fix to that is time. At least maybe this game was Steph turning a corner. Even if it was on .444/.375/1.000

This is the worst coached game in recent memory. I mean half the lineup was brutal but when Stephl 40 piecing the Pacers there's no reason you lose with a few tweaks to the rotation and or game plan. For Christ sakes run a few high pick and rolls. Kenny Atkinson cannot be back on the bench soon enough

A mature fan would be over complaining about refereeing. Sadly, that is not me. The foul call on Lee at the end of the 3rd quarter was ridiculous (Lee was right, HE was being grabbed) and no and-1 for Steph when he tied it up with about 2 minutes left (+lots more). I know these things are supposed to even out and I know I'm a warriors fan so I somehow missed all the calls that went in the Warriors favor to even things out but I still have one question:

WTF?????????????????

(Ok flashy thing me again, I need to go to bed)
