Let’s assume we can win some games and grab the 8 seed by beating Memphis in the season finale. Who would people want in the play-in? Portland, Lakers, or Dallas? Lakers seems the obvious last choice. Portland and Dallas both, we have had somewhat even splits this year. I think I’d take Portland, just that the walloping last month from Dallas was a bit hard to get over - but Dame and CJ in a one game series is a dice roll.
Happiness is Spurs lose for 32nd time - a heartbreaker, to Philly; Lakers lose, Dallas lose, and Portland wins, for a 3-way 36-28 tie at 5-7 play-in/playoff spots, with a head-to-head between Portland and Lakers for season bragging rights, later this week....a PERFECT Sunday....
Spurs lost against the Sixers tonight in OT. Warriors are now 0.5 games ahead of them. Spurs' next opponent are the Jazz, which they'll play against twice in a row in Utah. First time will be tomorrow, and the second time will be on Wednesday.
With all the talk about Oubre's injury, one thing folks are forgetting is that D. Lee is more than capable of performing well soaking up KO's minutes. And he's so much more consistent and wouldn't get the "Westbrook" treatment of being left alone for open threes like KO get while shooting the Dubs right out of games if his stroke is off. D. Lee's loss has been big over these past few games, as we'll see once he returns (soon, I hope).
Oubre injury news makes Warriors play-in scenarios trickier
Squidward would be thrilled if he gets Steph vs. Lebron in the play-in tournament... and so would I. :D
I really really really hate the Lakers.
It would provide a purpose for this dreary season.
Not saying this is Rick Celebrini's fault, but given the sheer number on injuries it may be time to evaluate what the training staff is doing.
Whoever had the Knicks and Lakers with the exact same record on May 3, come up and collect your LGW prize.

Mavs, Lakers & Blazers are now in a 3-way tie at 36-28. Mavs in 5th and Blazers in 7th.
Ugh: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/31381311/sacramento-kings-rookie-year-candidate-tyrese-haliburton-exits-game-early-left-knee-injury. Here’s hoping it’s not a big injury....

Raptors up 72-59 on the Lakers at the half.
Poop
Wiggins now questionable for tomorrow (knee)
Rooting for 76ers, Kings and Knicks today. Do 76ers still have multiple players on injury list?
I think either Memphis or SA are ideal matchups so I’d be totally fine with them staying right where they’re at now.
this Bucks / Nets matchup is fun!
I bet Oubre plays again this season

Possible upside: Makes Oubre easier for the W's to resign next season, and work into a bench role?
