Update: all media day interviews here.
Wow, it seems like just yesterday the Golden State Warriors were watching their title go up in smoke at the hands of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Austin Freakin’ Reaves.
But today is a new day! To be more specific, it’s Media Day for the Dubs!
It’s a time for our favorite players to show us their fresh new looks for the season and pontificate about what they’re looking forward to in this latest chapter of their Hall-of-Fame careers.
It’s also an excellent opportunity for new players to check in with Dub Nation and express their excitement and gratitude for being a part of such a classy organization.
It was just 4 years ago that I went to the very first Chase Center Media Day extravaganza, here’s some clips from that day.
Looking back, Warriors fans knew they had something cooking for the continuation of Golden State’s dynasty, but there was plenty of doubt in the air.
Now the Dubs are looking to get back into title contention after losing in the second round last season, here’s an open thread for all the shenanigans I’m sure we’ll see today! Go Dubs!
Wiggins and Looney are the two players in their chronological prime. Will Wiggins have overcome his personal issues in time to throw down a season befitting his prime 28 season?
A bit worried that after the JP trade, the current roster doesn't really include a fast, athletic guard who can drive. It looks like the Griz just waived Josh Christopher (6'4"), while adding Mychal Mulder. Josh Christopher was picked by the Rockets one pick after Usman Garuba in '21, so the Warriors should have some inside knowledge. Originally a 5-star recruit going to AZ State from SoCal. Worthy of a 2-way if Usman recommends? His stats are not great, but maybe there is potential?
