I'm re-watching this game because I was on the road when it happened and I was only semi-paying attention. There was a call by the officials that Bob Fitzgerald didn't agree with. Kalenna actually did agree with it and you can just tell he just got so tired of even discussing it with Fitz. He just went silent and let Fitz go on and then finally he said "that's interesting" lol

Steph shouldn't have to feel guilty about anything Draymond does. Is this really where we're at now?

Grant Nelson looks incredible in this UNC/Alabama game, future Warrior*?

*I reserve the right to go back on this take as I have no idea who this guy is.

Hawks beat Celtics again, this time in OT by one point.

Dejounte Murray hits jumper with 0.1 seconds left to win it, capping one of the least efficient 40+ point games in history: 44 points on 18/44 from the field, 6/19 from three, 2/2 from the line. Better ice down that shooting hand.

News release from TJ D Atoll. According to Daniel Hardee in GSOM :

“leaving plenty of minutes for another Warrior to step up. And the rookie Trayce-Jackson Davis did just that, playing a career high 33 minutes. He was a +5 plus/minus in his time on the court, shooting 4-of-8 from the field to score 8 points. He also added a mighty 14 rebounds, along with 3 assists, with a block and a steal.”

I'm entirely confused why people are so salty about Draymond's ejection. This IS who he is. A short and forced stint with a therapist and a PR statement (that he's sort of walked back in his later podcasts) was never going to "change him".

The calculation that must be made is, does Draymond's faults overwhelm his strengths? Does his temper/suspensions/predilection to techs and ejections overwhelm being one of the best defenders/big men passers in the NBA? Does it overwhelm being by all accounts a great leader within the locker room?

I don't think so, I think his pros dramatically outweigh his cons. That calculation may change in the future if he keeps getting suspended.

My WW vote was Wiggs all the way, but voters rightly acknowledge Moody and TJD. All of those guys were good on a night when we needed them to be. I'd even throw in Loon. Maybe we could get smaller WW Jr. trophies for them; they earned it.

I wanted to be angry with Draymond (and I was for a bit), and then I saw Kelly Oubre calling every official on the court a b***h at the end of the Sixers/Clippers' game and laughed and laughed. I realized I was being a hypocrite admiring Oubre's moxy and condemning Draymond (yes, they were different situations), but it's really difficult not to be on the player's side when you annually see the Laker free throw differential. Thank you for reading my stream of consciousness...go Dubs!

OT, in case you aren't following it, the Timberwolves have ownership drama to mess up their good vibes. The old owner agreed to sell to ARod and a tech billionaire, but right before the sale was going to close, decided he regretted selling just when they started getting good, and claimed that they missed a milestone so the sale of the final 60% is void. So now there is a 60% owner and a 40% owner group that don't get along. Would be like if Chris Cohan had done a staged sale and decided in 2015 that he liked the team too much to complete the sale and held onto a majority stake. Minny fans really cannot catch a break.
