I predict a lineup of Steph, Klay, Wiggs, Kuminga, Dray vs. Dallas’ space ball lineups. Switch everything and the weakest links for Luka to attack are Steph and Klay. Luka still gets 30, but the rest of the Mavs starve.

It has looked to me like we have been playing pretty effortless/carefree in the first 3 quarters and then switching to really deliberate to close it out in the 4th. Especially from the look in Steph's eyes when he's been waiting on the bench to come back in.
I just did some very crude analysis of the playoffs rounds so far:
Rd 1 vs Nuggets
Overall: 590 vs 550 = +40/5games = +8ppg
1Q: 136 vs 136 = 0/5 = 0ppg
4Q: 153 vs 134 = +19/5 = +3.8ppg
Rd 2 vs Grizz
Overall: 666 vs 662 = +4/6game = +0.666ppg
1Q: 153 vs 181 = -28/6 = -4.666ppg
4Q: 190 vs 150 = +40/6 = +6.666ppg
I know there was more garbage time in Rd 2 but still thought it was interesting FWIW...
Probably should have been starting looney this last series we close
It out in 5. Makes more sense to start Kuminga this series but those were some rough stints so like Arnovitz was suggesting on the Lowe Post: match Looneys monutes to Powell
What a touching article, Duby. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective and special thanks to Mrs. Duby for being willing to share you with DNHQ. I’ve not been in Chase — at other arenas, I’m all about arriving when the doors open yet still racing to find our seats and sight lines even when I know exactly where we are sitting. That is how, btw, I got Tex Winter’s autograph before being escorted by security back to my seat. I love everything about the pre game activities and rhythm. We don’t budge during halftime either. Red Panda? Yes!!
So, will Andrew Wiggins be the best athlete on the floor for most of the series? Mav's 1:1 defensive matchups are a bit weird against us... below are two line up considerations:
Start Looney:
Steph - DFS
Klay - Bullock?
Andrew - Doncic?
Dray - Brunson?
Kevon - Powell
Start Poole
Steph - DFS
Poole - Brunson?
Klay - Bullock?
Andrew - Doncic?
Dray - Powell
I think there's plenty of exploitable matchups here... am I crazy? I get it's not 1:1, but if we're shortening rotations, I see a lot of individual matchup advantages here for us offensively... I bet they end up playing Ntilikina a bit for defensive integrity.
This was the perfect Moody 4th quarter to bring us back, but then Luka hunted Steph to close the game with a blow-by for a bucket, postup bucket, and dish to Bullock for the 3 on the high tag and recover attempt.
Very nice Duby, thanks for sharing your experience and thanks to the DNHQ member who was able to hook you up with the tix. My first game at Chase was Steph's return game in 2020 against the Raptors the week before everything shut down for the pandemic, and it was hard to see what the building would be like in the playoffs given the circumstances at the time. My second game was Klay's return earlier this year and the atmosphere at that game gave me hope that Chase could be a great postseason home crowd, but I'm sure even that was not comparable to what it was like in the fourth quarter of Game 6 last week. Glad you were able to be there!
Also I never thought I would say this BUT... Listening to Patrick Beverly with the talking heads is like a breath of fresh air!
Requesto per favor. As our Big 3 ONLY played 11 minutes together in the RS, how have they been doing in the playoffs? Any +/- stats out there?

Totally OT:
How the hell did I miss this Chemical Brothers song up until now? I even have one of their CDs.

I'm adopting it as the theme for the rest of the playoffs. I'm sure the lyrics are totally inappropriate, but with this beat, I don't care.
Chris Paul’s contract hanging a little heavier around Sun’s neck

Also here's Kuminga's defensive possessions on Luka. Really looking forward to this matchup - https://twitter.com/anthonyVslater/status/1526084209420341248?s=20&t=gVXRJMTU1Mui830XUHGW0g
He just can't be lost on offense
Shoutout to draymond for taking accountability for his turnovers on his podcasts, I apologize for my slander
Aggressive draymond= championship

Edited for calling Chase Oracle, woops.
I've lived in socal for a while now. Seriously, I miss being able to watch games with tons of fans. Viewing experiences just not the same.
Maybe one day I'll visit and go to game at chase!
