Did… did the Warriors just blow out the #2 team in the West?
Playing with just nine players, including three playing on 10-day contracts, the Golden State Warriors rallied behind strong shooting to put away the Denver Nuggets. This was their second consecutive road win and sets the stage for a triumphant return of Stephen Curry.
Golden State got scorchingly hot behind the arc, hitting 18 of their 41 attempts (44%). I should probably write up deep dive articles about how bad the Warriors have been on the perimeter more often, because this was certainly the most dominant shooting performance of the year.
Mychal Mulder went full X-Files mode, going 5 of 10 from deep and entrenching himself deeper into position to get another 10-day contract from a Warriors team looking for supplemental bench shooting.
But the story of the game was Jordan Poole’s 15 points, 6 assists and Andrew Wiggins utilitarian game.
I told you guys Mulder was good. The sceptics on this forum said the sample size is small. I hope the warriors sign him. What Mulder represents is an insurance policy for Steph against box and 1.. nobody can box and 1 Steph With him on the floor. Bowman was signed for 350k this year and I think a minimum next year. Maybe the front office can sign Mulder to one of those too.i feel shooting is psychological. See how Poole and paschall shot well when Mulder got it going.
I was waiting after the game. That Jordan Poole removes, his mask on... And reveals that he is Stephen Curry! And remove a masking tape on his Jersey, that he was really wearing no# 30 instead of # 3!!!
I’m sorry he doesn’t get much attention because his stats don’t show, but El Subcomandante JTA tonight was relevant, imho, when the Nuggets were rebounding away, because he launched the charge by boxing out and throwing himself wildly “viva Zapata” style (infacts he got punched in the face). Un guerrillero!
Interesting how for one night, GSW overachieved on their weakness (3-point pct.) and underachieved on their strength (free throw pct.) in a win, nonetheless. It's like the KD-era Warriors getting their ass whooped but only committed 5 turnovers and Iggy making all his freethrows, not to mention Draymond hitting four threes.
What a great game. Second-best win of the season for me, right behind the win over the Rockets on christmas. This may have actually been more impressive than that win, but I'll always relish beating the Rockets.
Mile High Miracle: Warriors pound Nuggets with 116-100 win
OT: Tim Royce nonchalantly threw in "Mulder wants to believe" during broadcast after he hit his 4th or 5th 3 pointer. TR is a Warriors treasure.

This was a fun game. Wiggins looked good and that’s a plus for me. Poole is definitely improving which is a great sign too.

WAAAARRRIOORRRSS!!
Had to be said 🙂. Now bring on the Chef and all will be good with life once again.

Remember when people on here kept saying Will Barton was the absolute Warriors killer. Oh wait that's me... I'm People 🙃
Paschall with a quiet 22 points. Good shit.
Jordan Poole playing with an insane level of confident and sinking shots made me incredibly happy.

"I should probably write up deep dive articles about how bad the Warriors have been......" Yes, pick any topic and grill the Baby Dubs!
Wow! Light at the end of the tunnel. Unlike the time that phrase was used in the Vietnam war (or the American war in Vietnam)
Mulder looks legit. He was splashing 3s off some terrible passes tonight.
Can we sign him to a similar deal to Lee's with our current cap situation?

This is a feel good win! Warriors are the destroyer of NBA seedings!
Wasn't there 3 on 10-day contracts - Bender, Mulder and Randle?
I just wanted to tell you all I love you
New nick name for Paschall suggestions please
