Golden State competes in its 21st NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, which will feature all 30 NBA teams playing at least five games each from July 9-19. Each team will play four games from July 9-16, with the top four teams advancing to participate in the playoffs on July 18 and 19. The 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play a fifth game on either Friday, July 17, Saturday, July 18, or Sunday, July 19.

I might catch some flak for this but I think the narrative the team is the same as last years 37-45 squad as it stands is a bit unfair.
Porzingis is basically an add given how late he joined and that by the time he did Steph had gone down. A proper summer and training camp of Celebrini could get him back to 50+ games a season.
Bringing Melton back was far from certain and better than any other guard we could have got on the free agency market. He will have a training camp.
Yaxel is a major add I think. He'll be playing all 82, 25 mpg+. So that's more of a free agent signing than a draft pick. They really needed another wing who can play and produce positively and now they have one.
Find me a better back up center on the market than Al Horford for that price? Post getting $10m+??!
Butler should be back around All-Star break and let's face it has typically only played half a season the last few years of his career. I'd rather it be the stretch run. And I have total confidence he will be back to his old self when he is back given his style of play.
Those dog days games second half of the season will really help. Podz will be better for it. Gui stepped up. I actually really like Cryer as a third string guard. He can get a bucket. Reminds me a bit of Ian Clark. Very serviceable for the regular season. Bassey too could be decent.
They still have a couple of spots. Assume GP2 is one.
So while there might be familiar faces I think the roster will actually look quite different on the floor.

Not saying they're going to win a title but it'll be a decent team health permitting and they won't be fun to play against if they make it to playoffs.
As for LeBron I do think the pitch to LeBron should be this is where you'll have the biggest role. He slots into that starting lineup and will have the ball in his hands a lot, directing traffic making plays. He goes to Cavs, Heat, Sixers, he's the third option. If he does come and they are reasonably healthy it's not impossible they could be a dark horse contender.
The only sad spot is Moody. Really can't count him in for anything with that injury. Prayers up for him. If he does make it back this season that's a major boost.
The Golden State Warriors and center Charles Bassey have agreed on a one-year deal, bringing the big man back to the Bay Area for his sixth NBA season, sources tell ESPN. Bassey returns to Golden State in wake of Quinten Post joining the Grizzlies on an offer sheet. @ShamsCharania
