Did we jump the gun on Poole being good? 29% from three over his last 8 games not including tonight. He's the main reason this iteration of the second unit has been so bad lately imo, it's actually constructed well if Poole is truly a 6th man type of scorer. If not, then I'm not really sure they have an answer on the roster. Go back to trying the Paschall at center stuff? I don't know, not really seeing any answer with the personnel.
That's the thing so far with Poole. Sometimes he looks pretty good and we start believing, then he reverts to not being able to find the bottom of the net. Of course he's a young player. Could be my imagination but I didn't think he looked relaxed out there tonight.
The problem has been apparent since before the season started. If Dewayne Dedmon looks halfway decent in Miami I'm going to be furious that the Warriors chose to run Draymond's legs into the ground all season instead.
Len/Lopez 35 points 13 rebounds (even with Westbrook hoovering 'em up as is his wont) while Wiseman/Looney 18 points 8 rebounds. Can't win like this...
yeah Looney didn't do much. Wiseman no defense either. Kerr's tragic flaw is his loyalty. Loves Loon. I'm getting Patrick O'Bryant vibes. What did Don say? 'I love having dinner with him but don't want him in a game.' The Don never won a title so never had luxury of prioritizing relationships.
this might be the first time I'm joining the Kerr hate bandwagon. What a shocker and let down from a coaching standpoint. Absolutely pissed. Also man he is struggling to handle stephless lineups. I mean I know he's steph, but I would think with a top notch coach, we wouldn't be so easily the worst team in the league without steph.
If 6'3 Bradley Beal ever gets to the playoffs, defenders like Oubre and Wiggins will do that to him regularly. He can have his fun against Eastern Conference defenses in the regular season but I'm praying that the Warriors don't make the mistake of trading for him.
Wiggins committed an unforgivable error, no arguments there. Also made Beal's final statline look a lot better with that 4 point play, I realized. But still, over the course of the game he was looking very bothered by Wiggins' length. I'd be curious to know how many layups he made and what his final statline would have been had the Warriors had any kind of interior defensive presence tonight (which I assume would be present in the playoffs).
Beal plus Steph would be murdered on defense, and I think Steph's a good defender. We also would have to give up way too much. I have zero interest in Beal.
Lowry and van fleet are undersized but they where pretty good. Here beal Will put the effort. Hes in a bad place. Remember wiggs was awful on defense for the wolves
No post game show tonight - no analysis will make this loss any more palatable. Time to soothe myself with wine and episode 4 of Falcon & the Winter Soldier.
Or a win, but Steph backpedaling 20 feet off the court and falling hard on a metal step on the literal last seconds before he would have been subbed out for the game.
We have won against a bunch of good teams when we didn't expect to, though. Weird, weird season.
I love Steve Kerr. That's somehow two games he personally has pissed away in a season. I've only ever seen a couple games a coach has lost. That's inexcusable. I've seen too many shitty coaches to want Steve gone. But wtf man.
He pissed away the Hornets game, he pissed away a chance at the Grizzly game (for the same reason as the Hornets game, not calling a timeout to prevent a jumpball/turnover), and now he pissed away this one.

Guess what, if we had a serviceable veteran BIG MAN no way we lose this game. Players, coach and front office been completely stupid this year

To be more specific, Wiseman 18 pts, 6 rebounds, Looney... played 18.56 minutes.

A Patrick O'Bryant mention! I thought that ghost had been exorcized long ago but no....
Looney 0 pts (0-1 FG / 0-2 FT) / 2 reb / 1 stl / 3 TOV / 4 PF / 19 minutes.
Ouch
Wiggins came in for Wiseman and basically lost the game....

He's tried a bunch of different 2nd units but you gotta have the players.
The one in the 4th tonight is the one I've wanted to see and it produced. I hope we see it more.
Lol I have no idea what happened. I spent those last 5:30 minutes of regulation trying to find a good stream 😂.
But, totally sucks. Fools gold to think this team is capable of going on a run. Won't believe it till I see it

Noted. Thanks, buddy!

Why would we trade for a 6'3" guard not named Jrue Holiday (who can defend above his size) when Klay is coming back?
He just won a game and wiggins lost it

He Will be fine if he comes here with steph and klay... Plenty of space

Nice. For my therapy I think I'm gonna go with Godzilla vs. Kong.
Good choice - fun and decent cgi.
Why does it feel like every "we gotta win this game" this season has been a soul crushing loss?

It's like they flipped the wrong "nothing easy" switch after the all star break.
If you told me the Wizards shoot only 26% on 3, beal was only 22 and westbrook 19 I would think we blow out them at home..
Kareem Abdul Lopez
BLASPHEMY!!
WTF thread is activated https://www.letsgowarriors.com/p/wizards-stun-warriors-110-107-on
BTW, what was up with the FT shooting? 14/21 FTs is no good.
Wiggins man
Team full of idiots, if we can't beat the wizards on the hunt for playoffs I'm fully with the tank
I could see us win the play in games but now way are we winning a long series against a good team. Not this year
Draymond half assing every other game, steve kerr not in it mentally we don't deserve playoffs, maybe a trip to the lottery will lite a fire under us

Absolutely. I am absolutely pissed. I shouldn't be but I am.
Son unos pendejos! No puedo estar más emputado, puta madre!
Trying to decide which was worse, this game or my severe Covid vaccine reaction 🤮
End of the day it’s a game. Feel better!
Okay that one hurt
We could say that for 10 other games. And atleast 3 of them are on Kerr.
This one was on several people, Kerr among them.
Simply foul - we were up...
Oh sure but it came down to that partly because of previous screwups.
The irony is the team is so good at fouling. It's the one thing we do well consistently. Kerr needs to lean into the team's strengths.
Oh god, the paiiiiinnnnnnn. (But I LOL'd)
