Tatum and Giannis have 40+ points today. I hope Steph and/or Klay can do the same. We're going to need it.

The Warriors have started all five games against Memphis playing SLOPPY basketball, committing turnovers and fouls like there was no tomorrow. Mix in a slow, sometimes lethargic, offense and it's no surprise that the Warriors have never led at the end of the first quarter in all five games. Sure, we won two of the games but why dig yourselves into a hole and scramble frantically in the end to get out of it to eke out a win? It's such a bad habit of ours. They will need to be razor focused, disciplined, hungry, and attack at tip off tonight, and sustain it, otherwise, this series will be, I hate to say it, over for us on Sunday.

Whereas, there is no sure way for me to know that I’m not the only conscious being in the universe and all of “you” mere figments of my imagination, and

Whereas, I therefore control all I perceive,

Thusly and suchwise, I can make it so the Warriors win.

Science.

Just heard about Danny Green's career-threatening knee injury. I hate to say it, but we're all thinking it....

Where was Jordan Poole's hand at the time of the injury?

So many of these comments are as though you think NBA hall of fame legends should be coached like they’re 7 years old. Whether they make the same mistakes as a 7 year old or not. Come on. These are nba players with nba player egos and a bunch of them have won multiple chips. Let them do their thing. Trust and believe they’ll get it done. If a series was over after a bad blowout loss we’d be in the wcf already.

The Warriors have run nine high screens at Steven Adams in his two games back. Didn't always produce points, but regularly produced a good/great look. Would expect it to be a bigger emphasis for GSW tonight. Here's look at the nine possessions.

Looking back on all these years, it wasn't that we just won championships. It was the way we did. All I will ever ask for is good basketball. If we lose to a superior team, fine. But if we lose ....

Looney, Beli, OPJ, D Lee & JTA. That's my starting 5. I just want to see if that group can do any worse than our better players to start a game.

I'm sorry, I think G5 was a great failure on the Dub's coaching staff. As Dray said, "We have to approach this next game as an entirely different series." You mean to tell me that they didn't have that figured out BEFORE G5??? Yet we saw zero adjustments. That game was a light-years-behind moment. And I don't trust that they will suddenly pop the game plan into Ludicrous Speed.

Here comes the ultimate pessimist. I have to get this out, like making funeral arrangements before you die to make things easier.

Why we lose (if we lose).

1. Draymond gets Westbrookitis. Dray is at an intersection in his basketball career. If he can embrace the Igoudala Spirit Animal, he will have a 2nd career that could prove just as HOF worthy of the 1st chapter of his career. But if he limits himself to only 1 version of Draymond, the same way Westbrook has limited himself, then we lose throwing balls over outstretched hands and at sneakers. Draymond insists on driving the guy in from 1st base when he should be looking for the bunt, the slap contact to the right side, the walk. He has to stop trying to be the Hero's Sidekick on offense. If he is so smart, he should recognize that at this point, and in this series, LESS is MORE. But we lose because Dray learns the hard way. He has to see himself and his play as one of the primary reasons why they lose. This could turn great dividends moving forward, but it comes with a cost to the team now.

2. Klay. I can't, won't, am physiologically incapable of ripping on Klay. Klay will impact winning.

He can have the worst night and he will be 3rd on the list of why we lost.

3. Steph? I don't know where Steph is. I don't know if Steph knows where he is. I don't think you can make judgements about Steph using normal basketball logic. But the other night, Steph didn't give an F. Seriously, he did not give an F___ing F about that game. Will 30 be there tonight?

It will take a lot for the Warriors to lose this game. But it only takes one thing to win. Steph.

Steph, Steph, Steph, Steph, Steph. Your legacy. Your team. Your game.

Your legacy. Your team. Your game.
