By nearly every measure, this game should be a cake walk. However, it’s the first game of a B2B and we have guys who are old and could use rest.
The solution:
A reverse depth chart!
Let’s say they really would like to rest Steph, Draymond, and Iggy, but all could play if they had to. Why not have all 13 guys suit up and warm up, but let something like Poole-GP2-Lee-JTA-Kuminga start and eat a bunch of minutes with Wiggins, OPJ, Moody, Bjelly and Looney coming off the bench. Hopefully, the Steph/Dray/Dre all take a DNP-CD, but are available if the other 9 need help.
ok friends, Game Thread is scheduled for about 10 minutes before game time. Please help move the rookies over to the proper thread when the game starts!!
Curry is in, Andre is out tonight. Hoping for a nice easy win and lots of JFK minutes
"Thompson’s return to the floor is approaching. Reports say he just began practicing five-on-five again. And once he does suit up, the playing style and the expectations will feel familiar. More teams are constructed and conditioned to play against fast-moving, shot-happy teams like Golden State. But the Warriors have also evolved beyond the template they created long ago. After taking two years to rebuild themselves, the Warriors are the prohibitive championship favorites once again."
This is such an interesting experiment to try and develop a high lottery pick without just throwing them into the deep end on a bad team. Conventional wisdom says that is the "growing process" but thus far the Warriors seem to be proving conventional wisdom wrong. I mean, Kuminga wasn't just raw, he was RAW. I think there's a whole lot to be said about bringing him up slowly in a winning environment rather than just taking early lumps. Hopefully we can do a bit of a reset with Wiseman as well and see similar results.
Certainly, something that's been talked about a bit before, but I think we're starting to see positive results, but it's definitely still earl.
So I'm in Columbus. Does anyone have any tips on how I can convince my wife that it's worth my time and money to drive up to Cleveland for the game tonight???
There's a typo in the article but *I love it don't change it*!!
"I know it’s still earl"
I vote we make this a Thing, although I'm not going to predetermine what it means. Maybe the Warriors win a game and we say "It's still earl!!" Or they lose and we say that ... if they ever lose again. Which won't happen against Cleveland. I mean, I really think it won't -- but it's still earl.
Love this from Dray's podcast:

@2:22 What's up with Wiggins copying people's shot form in practice lol
Cavs are starting Garland, Rubio, Okoro, Wade, Davis. We better not lose this

More Warriors love from The Ringer, whose writers might have more (ir?)rational expectations for the Dubs than even the comments here at DubNationHQ.

Let curry rest I say
I feel bad for the Cavs (Jarrett Allen officially out as well now), all this, and the second night of a B2B?
> @anthonyVslater
No Collin Sexton, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen or Lauri Markkanen for the Cavaliers against the Warriors tonight in Cleveland.
Cavaliers played three of their starters heavy minutes last night in Brooklyn.
Wade: 38 minutes
Okoro: 39
Garland: 40
Rubio: 33
Davis: 24
I wonder it'll have a factor in tonight's game?
