Easy vote for #1, that dunk basically turned me from a casual fan who liked the dubs bc they were the local team to someone who watches every game. Plus it was the postseason which makes it more dramatic plus the shirt lift, just *chef's kiss*
Well these are my favorite two dunks in Warriors history, so tough choice. But I have to go with Baron's because it was not only incredible, it was the high point of the entire "We Believe" run.

I have a poster-sized print of the full frame BD dunk, an incredible photo from the hardwood to the glass. It was cropped to torso up for the Chronicle, but they made it available for purchase. So I bought an 8x10 and scanned it to blow up bigger. Phenomenal.
Honestly this Rising Stars game isn't much, but it's still way better than the Dunk competition and the Skills competition. They should move Rising Stars to Saturday night.
LOL... LIL MAC's line in Rising Stars...9 mins, 4-8 FG, 2-4 3PT, 2REB, 2ASSISTS, 1 STEAL....not bad at all for 9 mins of work...led his team with 10 pts, as usual. DUNK epic, next... yep, I'm pulling for him...he is a baller...
Mac did really well, too bad about that reverse dunk miss and its timing. Mac could have tied it up, might have had a path to something like Grand Theft Alvarado's legendary finish.
No doubt, G-leaguers are not supposed to win....they had one forward, no center, and the rest were all guards....Still they put up 32 points; better than the 25 pts the NBA team did in the other semifinal...
Just found out, he signed on Valentine's day. On the season, at G-league (35 games), he's averaging 18.3 points and 5.3 assists in 27.4 minutes. I guess since he hadn't played in the NBA, they left it as it was fo Rising Stars...makes sense, 35 games is a lot in the G league.
This isn't close for me. If we wanted the best alley for the oop, yeah, Steph's feed to KD was awesome. But for pure dunking viciousness, Baron killed it.
The other one is cute and all...and supplied some hope during some otherwise bleak times...but #EIGHT simply reeks of the Warriors exemplifying their superiority and arrogance...the super villainous team that crushed an entire league for more than 2 years.
#EIGHT.
#EIGHT.
#EIGHT.
(I included a few more on the off chance that EA is bad at count management)
People always talk about his hang time but what stands out to me that gave him an extra dimension was his hand time being able to palm the ball 🖐🏿 Has anyone done it better?
Though, I will point out that in today's game, that's a F1 on Baron for the forearm to the face. Of course, Kirilenko is a boss and doesn't flop to sell contact... today's game is so dumb sometimes.
The reason: I did not see either live and was not a warriors fan when #1 went down. But having seen it many time since on TV/Youtube etc. the way the crowd seemed to burst alive from a stupor suggested that something really special happened.
The Dray->Steph->KD->dunk was beautiful basketball though!
Nah... the TV adjusts the crowd volume accordingly. The crowd was super alive, and then reached another level. Like maybe they're were in a little lull of a post climax bliss because the game had already been won... it was super loud all damn game, and then got EVEN LOUDER WHEN BD DUNKED ALLLLL OVER A PERENNIAL DOPY candidate, and fans #WEBELIEVE'd that we should have been up 3-0, and were one home game away from taking back the series momentum. It was an incredibly special moment.
Now I kinda want these Warriors to go into the playoffs with a 42-40 record and #WEBELIEVEAGAIN the @#$@#$ out of these playoffs.
Damn, I went back and looked at the team splits for that year... Nellie was sooo ahead of his time, playing 5 out and shooting a bunch of 3s... most in the league even with very mediocre 3pt shooting, it worked because even a 33% 3pt shot was good offense back then, just nobody else realized it... and Don didn't quite realize how much he should push it.

Gotta go with #EIGHT. A defining moment of a shining era, never mind the KDrama. Plus, what Mr. Teal said.
Honestly this Rising Stars game isn't much, but it's still way better than the Dunk competition and the Skills competition. They should move Rising Stars to Saturday night.
And get rid of the celebrity game.
i enjoyed the celebrity game - good for lighthearted banter and laughs
Too bad JK isn’t there. He could fly over most of these guys.
Lofton looks like he could lose about a 1/10 of a Looney's worth of weight.
New unit of measure: A Looney! In this case, a tenth of a Looney.
McClung in the Rising Stars game. OK.
He's going to force his way into the league one way or another lol
Dino will be happy.

Lol, he was practicing for the Dunk epic...man, double pump, 2 handed, over-back dunk...barely missed it...that is a10 tomorrow...lol
Though, honestly, the two NBA "Rising" teams were a class above the G League squad.
No doubt, G-leaguers are not supposed to win....they had one forward, no center, and the rest were all guards....Still they put up 32 points; better than the 25 pts the NBA team did in the other semifinal...
They have G League guys in there
He got signed to a 2-way (Philly), so he's not straight G-league anymore.
When did that happen...
Three days ago (Feb. 14).
Gotsa, thanks. Tough rotation for him to get some PT in Philly, as long as they are chasing down the Bucks/Boston.....
I thought he was just in the dunk contest. He's in Rising Stars too? Wow.
Just led his team to a mini-comeback... it lasted as long as he was in there....lol
one current player you’d like to see steph play with? not including any of our guys/fantasy mode in full effect.
Lil Mac...double your penetation threat, havoc in the interior. Steph will get...spot up ops.....lol
Ben Simmons.
If Steph can't tease a real game out of Ben Simmons, nobody can.
Nobody can.
Steph with Jokic would be pretty special. Jokic just on the Dubs period would be a perfect fit
Yeah if Kerr would play a true big! (Joker joke!)
To be fair, Joker is a unicorn, not a big.
But he's a big unicorn!
Was fun to see him playing with LeBron in the All Star game.
And yes,, I do not hate LeBron
i hear you. lebron and jokic would be my top 2 picks.
I'm down with Giannis. That would be fun and pretty unstoppable.
Is there another place for rising stars discussion?
I don't think so. I just tuned in, and it seems to be the Josh Giddey show so far.
Trying to see if Gui is in this game.
Giddey is fun to watch distributing the ball.
He's really good. I keep having to remind myself he was off the board by the time we picked.
Gui isn't in the league. How could he be in that game?
G-league apparently qualifies.
Edit:
Oops. Apparently he's in the "Next Up" game. Not this one. So, I'm wrong.

Interesting. I guess one more reason I care less each year about the All Star events.
I wait with breathless anticipation for the 'Sixth Graders that have a chance' game to be added to the schedule.
Hey wasn't somebody here at DNHQ talking about how their kid had shot the lights out from 3 a few days ago? Sounds like a rising star to me.

Lebron has a legit claim to being the best ever, but watching Jordan’s artistry will always be more fun.
Palming? Wilt had massive mitts. Definitely better.

Kawhi has mj palming skill

Funny look-back:
1. There are 6 teams that made fewer 3s per game than Steph makes himself this year.
2. The Sixers that year attempted fewer 3s than 4 players this year. And they made fewer than 7 players make this year.
I was there and I had to yell to talk to my friend seated next to me. Crazy loud! And I didn't see anyone sit down even during half-time!
There can be only #ONE
