Almost less than two weeks till the first preseason game... Coinciding with my first school holidays after my first chaotic term as a beginner teacher... It will be Glorious! Cannot wait to get back in the game thread with you ALL! Thanks DNHQ for putting out so so much fresh content/comments to keep my dubdiction sustained without so much of the withdrawals 🙏

I've talked to people on here before who seem to believe that NBA owners have no say in who plays, so please see the second sentence:

> Before the 2017-18 season, a tense front-office situation provided another glimpse into interactions with Sarver employees felt were racially insensitive. Late in the previous season, point guard Eric Bledsoe had been benched in a tanking effort led by Sarver, former basketball operations staffers said. Issues with the benching percolated into the offseason, when Bledsoe was eligible for a contract extension.

Seven. So many reasons like: if you type Wiggins into a Youtube search bar it autofills 'dunk on Doncic' and his head was at or above the rim and the sound of it etc.

But because Doncic went full Euro soccer and tried to fake an injury to get out of being on a poster it wins hands down.

#SEVEN - All the reasons have been discussed thoroughly. But Five Alarm Freddy almost dropping a baby when he saw it absolutely seals the deal.

I gotta say, that dunk on Clarke gets better and better watching in slow motion, that slight adjustment to the left in midair as Clarke came to challenge is pure athleticism. But I have to go with #7, on account of having watched it 100 times, and it being one of the iconic moments of this championship run. When they retire Wiggins' number, that is sure to be on the highlight reel along with his championship winning 3-point shot from 2026, which would be assisted by Jordan Poole of course, following a monster block by James Wiseman on the other end.

The dunk on Clarke was more athletic, but the poster on Luka just seemed more significant, particularly since we got to see it OVER AND OVER on replay while the call was contested.

It was hard to decide. They are both beautiful, and I had to watch both over and over. Do I get hardship pay? But when it occurred, I screen-shotted (is that a verb?) Wiggins dunking as Doncic is flopping, and kept it to take out and look at from time to time just to make me happy, so, as a purely subjective response, yep.

#7. Now that's what you call posterizing someone.

My favourite is 10 as it was so cathartic in the moments post foul on GPII in a tough series. And I remember thinking it woke something up in Wiggins!! But as for most Iconoclastic? #SEVEN hands down

Guess I'm all alone, but I vote #TEN. The fact that it came in a loss is a huge demerit, obviously, but I love every single other thing about it. The hang time. The two-handed ferocity. The way he has to cock it back in mid air to avoid a pretty good contest by Clarke (who ends up on the ground by legitimate means—not a flop!). And above all the fact that that it came against the Grizzlies, about twelve game-clock minutes after Dillon Brooks's dirty foul on Payton.

The last point really can't be overstated, in my opinion. We still didn't know at this point what kind of competitor Wiggins would prove to be on the biggest stage. To unleash that dunk in that context was, in retrospect, a watershed moment for him.
