From Lob City to Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers spent a decade trying to overtake Golden State, legally or illegally. Their latest attempt may have destroyed their franchise’s future.
Excuse the anology...but it reminds me of Bernie Madoff or Enron or a thousand other disasters. Or even Lance Armstrong.
I would rather have a solid, honest team that I like our players and camraderie than winning by hook or by crook. The good guys don't always win, but you can still hold your heads high. I am proud that Jimmy and Moody weren't thrown under the bus. Charachter matters. And how hard they have worked to get back. These things are the glue that loyalty brings. And there is always hope that we pull another rabbit out of the hat!
Wow Daniel all-time greatest blogger! This piece is EPIC. Loved it so much I read it three times and will again. Cheers to you and Dr. Tom!
I think Kawhi's punishment should have been to have to stay with the Clippers, getting booed every game home or away until he retires.
The future is even brighter for the Warriors.
