I would even go as far as saying that the Warriors don't need Klay to win a championship with the present team. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have him (I hope that's true). With the team playing as it usually does, they will be and are a force to reckon with.

Yo, so Jordan Poole is a little better than Tyler Herro, right?

When Stephen Curry posts a negative BPM this season, the Warriors are 6-2. When Giannis, Jokic, or KD post a negative BPM this season, their teams COMBINED are 0-5.

Damion jones playing extremely well for the Kings. Still playing the warriors way: setting great screens, defending and finishing

I don't see a change necessary to Curry's game. The same complaint has been lodged against him for years to take better shots and not turn the ball over. Teaching an old dog new tricks doesn't apply to this guy. Giving him less minutes is not the same as changing his game. Less minutes when he is playing as he did against the Heat would have been smart as we have the depth to cover and execute in his absence.

Yes.

Last year’s poor pickups that struggled to ever fit in our system only accentuate how amazing this year’s cadre has been. Lacob & Co. are geniuses but also lucky, so very lucky.

With all this firepower, am I the only one thinking Steph could reign in the the amount of crazy shots? Obviously, the whole offense is predicated on getting him shots, but it seems like the team often passes up really good looks in deference to Curry, but his resulting shot is an off-balance “prayer”. We all know he can make those like no one else ever, but is it a smarter shot than a wide open set shot by OPJ, Bjelly, Wiggins, Poole or even GP2 and Lee?

If we had this season’s OPJ last season instead of Oubre would we have made a nice Playoff run? I’m thinking maybe so.

I often wonder how many shots Steph takes when he knows he's cold but he takes them anyway because he has to be taking shots for the D to continue to focus on him. His gravity could (would?) diminish some if he was cold and only took 8 shots.

OT: in Italy has just arrived the book "The Victory Machine" (by Ethan Sherwood Strauss), translated in italian. My brother bought me a copy as Christmas present. Is it a good read? Is it realistic or full of gossip? Thank you for your answers

(In italian is : "Golden State Warriors - La macchina della vittoria")

It is heartening that Curry’s bouts with cold shooting have mostly occurred during wins. The losses have mostly been attributable to other factors: turnovers, missed free throws, overall team shooting. Curry smiling and shaking his head after a mere mortal miss is great to see. A lot of people have that guy’s back including the fans which definitely eases the sting and keeps things in perspective. As an aside, my wife’s theory on the missed layups is his increased muscle mass affects his soft touch around the rim. Please be kind in your responses as I will have to tell her what folks said.😉
