Gamethread: Warriors vs Lakers (and I'm still mad about the Kings loss)
CALL THE TIMEOUT STEVE!
I know that the Golden State Warriors are taking on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight. And I know that you don’t let one game beat you twice. But my mind can’t get away from the closing sequence from the Sacramento Kings game.
The Warriors, down one with 15 seconds left, snagged a defensive rebound off of a missed free throw. Klay Thompson dribbled his way to mid court and chucked it off to Jonathan Kuminga who had been balling the whole night (31 points).
JK went straight into a dribble handoff to Stephen Curry, who battled through the defensive pressure to try and get a screen from Draymond Green at the top of the arc. The Kings swarmed Curry, abandoning Green, forcing Curry to lose his handle and the game.
Of course, the immediate question from Dub Nation happened to be “WHY DIDN’T COACH KERR CALL A TIMEOUT TO GET THE DUBS SETTLED?”
Wellp, it’s the past and you never let one loss beat you twice. But this sequence is sticking in my craw for some reason. Let’s hope the Dubs rectify these late game issues to get a big win over the Lakers tonight.

Why in hell did we have three small PGs in there at the end?
