Gamethread: Warriors banged up, but closing in on answers
Green, Moody, Payton all questionable tonight against Pacers
The holiday glow has descended on the world, but the Golden State Warriors are still hard at work, hoping to figure things out. Tonight’s opponent will be the Indiana Pacers, but there are no easy wins in the NBA - especially for a Warriors team that has floundered quite a bit since their strong 12-3 start.
Further increasing the difficulty curve, there’s a slew of Golden State players listed as questionable on the injury report: Draymond Green (knee), Moses Moody (also knee), and Gary Payton (calf) are all listed as questionable.

Did the Warriors find something in that last game?
Playing without Draymond Green, the Warriors went back to rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis - and he responded to the tune of 15 points and 9 rebounds. He was one of five Warriors that scored in double digits in the win over the Timberwolves - with Curry finishing with a game-high 31 points (and 10 assists). Brandin Podziemski (12 points), Jonathan Kuminga (11) and Buddy Hield (11) combined for 34 of Golden State’s 46 bench points.
Golden State torched the Timberwolves in the first half, and then closed them out off of a strong closing stanza from Curry. It’s a model that the team has been chasing for months now, but the new mix may very well be the elusive answer that they’ve been seeking.
Prediction
It’s Xmas Eve tomorrow! The Warriors should pick up one of their easier wins if they can handle business tonight.
Post-game thread up. Be good to each other.
Dray did not ket Kerrs message of passing - he should not be taking 3s now
