Three games and then a nice break for new Warriors against Bucks (no Giannis), Mavs, and Rockets

The Golden State Warriors have just 30 games left in the season, but only three games left prior to the NBA All-star break. This week provides a few opportunities for the Warriors and newly acquired star, Jimmy Butler to begin their chase for a playoff spot in earnest. The 6th seed is the Warriors goal. Though only separated by 3.5 games back from the current owner (Timberwolves), Golden State will need to start climbing right away.

For tonight, they get a significant lift due to the unfortunate injury to Giannis Antetokounmpo - his calf strain is serious enough to keep him out of this weekend’s impending All Star game.
