Game Thread: Warriors send the reserves to Denver
Golden State brushes off rescheduled game
When the NBA rescheduled the earlier game between the Golden State Warriors and a Denver Nuggets team that wasn’t able to field a team during the holiday Covid peak, miles upon miles of eyeball rolls unfolded across Dub Nation. The newly scheduled game adds a back-to-back that will require Golden State to fly home tonight, and then back into Denver on Thursday.
The Warriors, instead, are choosing to rest most of the team. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson didn’t even make the trip, and then added Otto Porter (he’s now out) and Juan Toscano-Anderson (he will play) to the injury report as questionable tonight with “general illness.” That reduced the list of available players down to eight available in Denver tonight, two of which are on two-way contracts.
Here’s tonight’s injury report:

Some good minutes for the rookies tonight, a chance to see how bigger roles suit some of the up and comers, and a front row seat to a dominant Nikola Jokic performance. Good times!
