Game Thread: Oubre out against Blazers, could Warriors fans finally get that Steph vs. Dame head-to-head?
Also, could this be a good game for Wiseman? Who covers Lillard if Oubre can't go?
Still no word on Kelly Oubre. It was announced during this morning’s media availability that his status for tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers was “questionable” due to a sore left wrist. If he can’t go, we may get that Stephen Curry on Damian Lillard (and vice versa) that has been mostly elusive as both the Warriors and Blazers seek to protect their primary cog from the other side’s most dangerous weapon.
Normally, Curry covers McCollum. He’s out, and they may give Curry the defensive assignment for his replacement Robert Covington - but it seems like as good a time as any to just stick the two star point guards on each other and see what happens. I strongly doubt the Blazers will expose Lillard defensively to Curry, but a boy can dream, can’t I?
One more thought: the Blazers defense isn’t good, and their primary center is hurt - could this be a night for Wiseman to go crazy?

Let’s go Warriors!!

This team has been really hard to watch lately. I've been half paying attention these last 5 or 6 games. Trying to stay emotionally distant lol
