Does Steph really need to be in the game on a final defensive possession??? He was simply lost out there. Third time I have seen him burned by the inbounder. When we have a last stand defensive possession, we need the 5 best defenders on the court and not worry about hurting anyone's feelings. Jeesh!
I'm OK with the way the Dubs played. Just lost a close one to the league MVP. Not one of those terrible soul-destroyers where you wonder if your team can even play basketball.
Nuggets outscored the Warriors 39-30 in the final quarter. Warriors defense held the Nuggets well for three quarters, but the Nuggets offense became red hot in the 4th quarter. The missed FTs didn't help, either.
This was one of those games that we were beat with surgical precision. Every other loss recently has been the other team just playing like Game 7. Props to Denver not even mad at them.
