Well, that's unfortunately what you get for playing like trash in the third. Yet another L, but whatever, I was having too nice a day to let this loss tarnish it.
Not too bothered by that L. If the Warriors are a .500 team or so without Curry (worse?), then winning on the road against any decent team is not going to be easy. Sucks that they also lost against the Spurs and Magic who they should have beaten, but in a vacuum this loss is whatever to me.
Only thing that has worried me a bit over the last few games is that Draymond doesn't look as sharp defensively, but I'm keeping the faith that he'll round into form just like he did coming back from COVID last season.
Offense was bullshit the last 8 minutes, Poole lost all confidence n was waiting for klay to save him, if it wasn’t for gp2s offensive rebound they would have won by 20, but kerr decided to keep that lineup in and not insert kuminga
Somebody on Twitter said he absolutely turned off the spout when Kerr said not to be shot hunting. I did t see anywhere where Kerr told Poole anything about his shot selection
New thread here to commiserate: https://dubnationhq.com/p/post-game-thread-warriors-go-on-big?s=w
What the heck is going on with the Heat??? They were up by a lot after the 3rd quarter, then they let the Knicks back in the game in the 4th quarter.
So Morant will be out for at least two more weeks, including against us.
That's something at least.
They were something like 18 - 2 without him.
They are pretty good even w/o him. Doubt we can have 4 more wins in next 8 with 8 games remaining for both
I don't think the Warriors will win the @ Grizzlies game, but who knows? Anything can happen in the NBA.
I prefer third place. Do not want to face LAL or LAC. LeBron you never know, maybe AD back. And maybe PG13 back for the Clippers.
I want to avoid the Wolves.
Wolves up by 20 at nearly end of 3rd. Nice.
But do we want to face them instead of the Nuggets? Kat vs Jokic?
Yeah that's a flop side of coin. I still go Wolves. Jokic is much bigger human being for Dray's wear and tear
The Nuggets will quit on us when they fall behind, they know they have a ceiling.
The TWolves have been on fire for months and will believe it's their turn.
Hell no, I'd rather face the Nuggets or Dallas.
We can control our destiny if we have 2 game separation vs Utah/Dallas. Loose last X games on purpose if so needed.
I’d want to face Dallas too more than any of the other two teams
I wanted Portland…
No way Draymond is 100% physically. I don't think he's injured but his body is just not there yet.
Out of shape is all
Dray played poorly. I have no idea what gets his motor going these days.
He's coming back from a multi-month injury where he couldn't move, does he not get any leeway?
I m talking about his energy/focus/engagement.
Where's LeBron when you need him. . .
Watching LeBron?

Warriors record without Curry is around .333, I believe.
Yeah I mean they are mostly playing road games and back to back so I feel like .500 would be pretty ambitious.

I think 2nd seed is pretty much done. Hopefully we can hold on to 3
Not the most maddening loss of the year.
Pretty maddening compared to how we started? what the heck happened?
Nowhere near
Poole was 8/13 FGs in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, he was 0/9.
They realized he’s a stud and made a point of blitzing him more aggressively in the second half.
Now imagine Steph on the floor with him. :-)

Is Bjeli hurt?
Booo.
Ah well, nice lil comeback; no one got hurt; Klay and Dray looked healthy; Jazz lost; Mavs losing.
The game itself isn’t that important, but we have to start playing better basketball before the playoffs start
i couldn’t watch the 2nd half but did we run out of gas in the final minutes again?
It looked like they were out of gas in the 2nd half. Poole had no FGs, and Klay missing a bunch of shots until the 4th quarter.
What was that last play?
