Would like to see Moses get a longer leash from now on and able to play through mistakes if he’s physically able to. I know he’s a professional that’s always ready but think he’d build so much more confidence if his minutes are consistent.
Our team 3pt stats are kinda wild... raise your hand if you had Dray, Jimmy, and Kuminga all with better 3P% than all of Steph, Buddy, and Al. I know it's early, but still...
I get why they're spoiler free now but I liked the spoiler mailings. See it, get past it (or celebrate and click through), waking up here in Central European time.
Eric A., when jimmybucks is +17 in 14 minutes and AVG-Z score has him -0.56, there's something wrong with AVG-Z. You posted a while back what AVG-Z means, and I forget. Is this something like PER which massively penalizes players for less than 30 minutes a game?
AVG-Z is the average of z-scores of EFF, Game Score, PIE. Those don’t measure +/- at all. That’s why I list all the numbers, because they tell different slices of the story. I believe Game Score is basically PER for a single game?
I’ve experimented playing around with calculating win probability added and leverage but for now they just don’t match my eye test… too much volatility and randomness within a single game. Same for things like lineup net ratings.
I’m always open to adding more numbers if they can be easily calculated from Box Score and Play by Play.
Don't know about the metric but single game +/- is heavily affected by teammate and opponent performance to the point where it is largely meaningless imo, despite what that oaf Kawakami thinks
Yeah I'm the one who posted that so the progression was Slater reporting that Steph was really losing it in the 2nd half due to his cold, then there was another tweet that I didn't post which was video of Steph saying that he was losing it in the 2nd half because of his cold, and now this video came through with Kerr saying look he's not playing tomorrow lol

If Steph isn't playing tomorrow, how many minutes does Draymond get before he gets ejected?
Minutes? Like... plural? You sure it's gonna last that long?
Perhaps if Jimmy plays he might GAF

After tomorrow the Warriors will have....1 day off...to fly to Denver and play the Nuggs on Friday.
Since the Kings want to be us so bad maybe they should follow the path of playing like crap when the opposing team's star is out tomorrow

I would LOVE to see rolling averages on some stats that could indicate a players recent form (say last 5 games?)
I like the general idea, but I need specifics...

Don't poke da bear.😉
HELL YEAH!!!
Sigh

Steph Curry will miss tomorrow’s game in Sacramento, Steve Kerr said. He labeled Jimmy Butler as questionable.

A post below said that Curry has a cold. Guess that's why he's resting tomorrow.

Jimmybucks is always questionable. Just ask him.
You know one of the younger kids brought a cold back from school, perils of being a parent or young kids.
PSA - Sick kids at school means sick teachers at home! (this one still got to watch the game in bed though)
all the home teams have won so far today (yes, including the Pelicans)
Clippers (understandably) might not, though (still going on Peacock)
These 10pm (central) start times are brutal. Glad the Warriors are done for the night I gotta get to bed!
Clippers-Thunder game has been close all throughout, even with no Kawhi. Maybe, Clippers can give OKC their first loss.
