I wouldn’t hate it if we lock up Bassey on a cheap multi year extension. He’s an ideal backup 5.

Unquestionably the player of the game was moody. A huge and long ovation and it gave ys hope for next year

I had to look up Charles Bassey. Did I miss something? When did he join the team? Oh. Got it. 2nd game on a 10 day (I think? Conflicting reports).

The future is here. The Bassey era has begun.

Fantom's avatar

He signed actual contract- difference being he is signed for playin( and playoffs) I would nt be surprised if it includes next year warriors option that protects him

Pat Spencer - 41 minutes tonight!

Great home win. Glad I got to see Steph play one last time this season, in a W

Lakers got trounced by the Thunder tonight and had one of the worst FT lines I've ever seen: 14/31 (45.1%). Pretty impressive that they got 31 FTs tonight with LeBron, Reeves, and Luka all out.

fzwinter's avatar

Give Kings credit for some good tank commanding as well. Didn't see Carter or Monk in the 4th quarter and Raynaud only got 4th quarter minutes when Cardwell fouled out with less than two minutes left.

I realize we won't have a poll but I'm gonna say Bassey for WW because he gave us much more than we had a right to expect — including a double double. Honorable mention to Melton, and if you'd pick him, I won't argue. Podz was good too.

Bassey showed a little touch around the basket! Still figuring out how to defend with Dray but that could be solid in the future.

I’d like to see him get his hands up more consistently on shot attempts, and hopefully he’ll rotate a bit quicker as he settles into the defensive end. But he’s been a hyper-productive big in the G League with size, some touch, and decent defensive potential, and he seems very likable. Hope he sticks - him plus our other three centers (to say nothing of Draymond) is a really nice mix for next year if they all come back

fzwinter's avatar

He's definitely an improvement over Big Yurt

Ditto on all of it.

I liked the part where they won the game.

I like Bassey but that hairstyle is something

Kings turn to go from Haha Our Bench Made You Play Your Hardest land into Always Close Enough to Hurt™ territory tonight

I just wanted to tell you all that life is short and I love you.

? I might be missing context, since I didn't see the game, but I hope this is just a general comment about Steph's career drawing to a close rather than about someone in particular.

I hope all of us in our extended community are well.
