Depends on Porzingis' health. I am not a believer that Kuminga can be good enough to make the Warriors regret the trade, but I could definitely see the trade becoming a garbage in, garbage out salary dump type of thing.
Missed this one, but it looks like Porzingis put on a show, Gui was consistent, and DAM had an outlier game, while Podz was down. Nice to see them get a win against a team they /should/ beat.
Yes, Porzingis was very good indeed. DAM has been playing well lately, and today he took the ball into the paint and finished rather than just gunning from 3. So a strong game for him but I don't think I'd call it an outlier. GP2 was good too, looked bouncy. Gui only had one TO, too, which is refreshing.
By my quick search, the last GSW centers to score 30 are quite unpredictable...
Wiseman 30 PTS, 2022-12-21
Speights 32 PTS, 2014-02-10 (a center I guess?)
and then...
David Lee 8 times 2011-2014
Cousins got close with 28 PTS, 2019-04-02

Is this KP's "breakout game" or is this just the same noise as JK's Hawks debut against the tanking Washington Generals?
Breakout? KP is and has always been this guy. He just has had health issues.
Porzingis has a long track record of being a very good NBA player, the main question mark about him is his health not his game
Will Richards played 32 minutes and scored zilch with six attempts. Why is that? I hope Kerr’s wrath on him last night didn’t scare him.
Ok Spurs do your thing
Gui finished a game high +20
Unlike last night, did not feel good about this game - but we failed to lose to the worst team in the league, so yeah?
Well either I’m good luck or we played the Wizards
So you're going to every game on this road trip, right? Boston, Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas... what fun!
Both?
Porzingis very casually playing a game that is probably better than any game Kuminga has had in his career tbh. Way different caliber of talent.
I think we should thank the Hawks too

And Draymond had a meh game, though he got 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
Post game interview:
Q. How excited are you about playing with Steph?
Kristaps: Oh man, this is the GOAT!
I liked the part where they won the game.
We didn't take a Wiz. Whew.
