Warrior Wonder poll now live in the post.

What a stupid game I just watched... Gui and Horford missed absolute bunnies that would have sealed the game... then we fouled a jump shooter twice in the last minute... then missed a FT at the end. How do we always find a way to @#%@#% up the "up by 3 with under 10 seconds left" situation?!?!!?

ServantOfLuna's avatar

Warriors net rating has fallen to #15 in the league. I think it used to be #8-10 before the ASB. Their off. efficiency is #15, and their def. efficiency is #12. Not having Steph and Butler is having a big negative impact on both sides of the court for the Warriors.

GlueAndBold's avatar

Lol it’ll do that

ServantOfLuna's avatar

I know. But it's depressing to see the Warriors stats go down slowly after every game due to their star players being out due to injuries.

DFiB's avatar

Pat Spencer played 30 minutes. LJ Cryer played 20. Gui @$@#% Santos played 36 minutes. This is not the rotation that's just missing stars...

GlueAndBold's avatar

A lot of good stuff in this game. I whooped for joy more times than I have inna lot of wins. Call it what you will. I was entertained.

Draymond using up his remaining energy and “give a shit” this season just to beat the Rockets and KD again. Honestly respect it

Loonatic's avatar

Dray's body language in OT was just putrid.

mad because he sat most of 4th quarter crunch time

DFiB's avatar

Until he gave up the silly foul...

ServantOfLuna's avatar

Oh dang. Lakers are up by a lot thanks to a big 3rd Q run.

ananthd's avatar

The Lakers are much better without LeBron.

jaxfor3's avatar

We needed former Warriors Assistant GM Travis Schlenk to trade us Jalen Johnson for Kuminga but he wouldn't pull a Nico for us. So disappointing.

cpt nemo's avatar

in contrast to our team, which is much worse without Steph!

Captain Jack's avatar

POA defense has been pretty bad these last 2 games

Captain Jack's avatar

I wonder if SA has enough to win it all this season. I usually have a pretty firm opinion on teams by this point but not for those guys. On one hand I think Wemby might be able to single handedly affect an entire series but on the other hand I think they're still a legit wing away from winning a chip

BayesGT's avatar

I think they max out at the 2nd round tbh. Young teams always flame out their first year of success

Captain Jack's avatar

Same here. That kid Wemby might have something to say about that though. I'm doubting them but he's a true basketball sicko in a good way

Klaymatic37's avatar

If the dubs are out of the playoffs, I could see myself tuning into some SA games just for Wemby. I'm not in a habit of watching non-dubs games with that said

jaxfor3's avatar

I would check out the Hornets if they make it in. Their offense feels like the peak Warriors offense. Their defense is hit or miss though.

I haven't watched a single complete non Dubs game since the 2014 playoffs. The NBA product is not great. I do watch snatches of the Hornets as I like most of their guys.

Klaymatic37's avatar

It's gotta be a handful of playoffs/final games I've watched.

It's not many although. Offenses without steph just aren't fun to watch. I always feel like I'm watching a different game.

cpt nemo's avatar

i have already been watching every spurs game - they are fun to watch for sure.

Captain Jack's avatar

I'm a fake NBA fan I don't really care to watch non Dubs games for the most part. I'll only tune in if something crazy is happening

Klaymatic37's avatar

It's just not the same when it's not "your" team.

cannothoop's avatar

yeah 99+% all I watch is dubs.

So dubs are in no mans land? Can't do better than 11th in draft seeding so no point in tanking?

BayesGT's avatar

Have we talked at all about Bam dropping 83 points on the Wizards???

Arnold's avatar

Wtf happened there? Bam took 22 threes and made over 30 free throws?? Don't understand why Bam was volume-shooting... was it his birthday??

Sabiscrashingout.'s avatar

Showing off for his WNBA GOAT lady love.

NoOneEverGotFired4GuardinSteph's avatar

My thoughts:

If you told me someone scored 83 points today I think I would've guessed at least 83 players before Bam

But my first guess for the opponent absolutely was the Wizards

Goofus's avatar

But there weren’t 83 players playing the Wizards today.

NoOneEverGotFired4GuardinSteph's avatar

Haha but I don't have the schedule memorized

Sabiscrashingout.'s avatar

Uhhh yep. It got buried in game thread.

NoOneEverGotFired4GuardinSteph's avatar

Yes, early in the game thread

If anyone was wondering, yes, Bam's previous career high was less than half his new career high (barely)

FromMunichWithLove's avatar

43 free throw attempts…

cannothoop's avatar

like 90 taken in the game? absurd

Captain Jack's avatar

Gui lacked that springiness most of the night because of B2B legs and we got killed with the 2nd chance points. Great effort from that unit to put us in a position to win the game at the end though. Disappointing loss but it is what it is. Let's get Steph back and win some games.

Ando's avatar

looked like Gui was limping last 3 minutes of OT. I'm guessing he's out Friday

cannothoop's avatar

I still never can predict what will happen when he goes to the rim. Ballet twisting move that floats in? stripped on a spin? Flat off the rim? Nice put in? never boring at least.
