Curry 20-71 from 3 his last 6 games. Going to be nice when the correction happens

Maybe this is when the Mood-omination begins.

Still wanna see what the Steph-Moods-Wiggs-JK-Dray death lineup looks like.

With Wiggins out for personal reasons again, I'm not sure we're ever going to get to see that one.

I like Wiggs, but I wish we could know what the heck is going on...

Could be anything from a game or two to .... ?

His body language has been so great the last few weeks. It's so bizarre.

So do I. That length and activity on the wings would be the closest to the Iggy years that we could see.

Looney: team-high +20

Under rated, over criticized, always available... nothing spectacular... and he has quietly grown from a valuable role player into a team leader from what I've read.

Multiple posters here after the Nuggets game said his NBA career was over. Sigh.

Strus buzzer beater. Glad to see random endings happening to other teams.

The call on that is so fun. "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!"

Ws just two losses back of Dallas now. Those three remaining games against them are gonna be huge.

Way to go Cavs

Altho I’d rather not have the coin-toss -ness of the play-in, I’d also rather play Min or OKC in first round. Versus Den or LAC.

I have the matchups correct, right? Play-in teams play 1 and 2?

No point in worrying about it now, IMHO.

I'd like us to get to six just so one or two stinker games doesn't bounce us out of the playoffs. We have a really tough finishing schedule (timewise) ... we might take a game or two to recover from being tired. Plus, of course, being six buys you some rest while the play-in goes on.

#7 plays 8, winner advances, loser plays winner of 9 vs 10. Sitting at 8th in play-in gives you two chances to make playoffs.

Right. So we were 7 three years ago. Got the home game. Lost to Mem. Then lost the second game to LAL. Ja?

Expand full comment

Yes.

Yeah, but the Nuggets and Clippers could also easily be the #1-2 seeds.

Correct. Winner of the 7-8 game plays 2, winner of the final play-in game plays 1.

So much flukiness can happen in one game that I'd love to be out of the play-in, but yeah, I'd feel a lot better if we're not facing Denver. I think the best result for us is actually facing OKC and the Clippers in the first two rounds, and hoping Minnesota knocks off Denver.

But obviously the Warriors could lose to any of those teams or in the play-in.

Avoiding Denver and avoiding the play-in are not mutually exclusive.

Also … Memphis?

Expand full comment

Sorry, meant Minnesota. Brainfart.

It is weird to process Minnesota being awesome and Memphis being terrible.

Luka 45 points and 14 assists. Not enough apparently 😂

Kyrie had 30, but Luka and Kyrie were the only Mavs in double figures. Cavs had six players in double figures: Mitchell, Allen, Strus, Mobley, LeVert, and Niang.

Dallas lose but pels probably will win.

Cleveland wins

Very very good

Thank you Strus for hitting the buzzer beater and stealing the win away from Mavs

Max Strus with the halfcourt buzzer beater to beat the Mavs!

Expand full comment

Lol Mavs!!!!

Strus wins it with a 60-footer at the buzzer. Type of loss we might have taken early this season.

Game ball to Moody just for not stinking the place up after being in purgatory for 2 months.
