I want to get mad at the team for chucking like crazy recently but that's just the reality without Steph and Jimmy. No one outside of Melt is a threat to dribble inside the paint and score and when you don't have dribble penetration you're just not going to have a sustainable offense. It's either that or some crazy end of shot clock heave.
Favorite sequence was when Dubs cut it to 20 (105-85) and Celtics took timeout. Then Dubs pressured Pritchard near half court and Celtics took another timeout. Then Dubs stole the ball right after the inbounds pass and Payton got an easy bucket. Be interesting to see what Celtics discussed during the timeouts because whatever it was, it didn't work
Frustrating first half and I was ready to embrace this as a 2019/2020 type of loss, however that 2nd half attempted comeback changed my mind. Not a moral victory but I always appreciate seeing the team rally and play with effort and I’m happy with it despite the loss.

Watched first half on Amazon, switched to the Comcast feed fir the 2nd half.
WTF was that constant on-ball graphic????
Awful.
Gui up to 38.5% from three for the season. Giving off some JTA 2020-21 vibes
he’s much better than jta
Gui - '25-26: 52/39/63; per 36: 14.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.3 turnovers, 1.7 steals,0.8 blocks,
JTA - '20-21: 58/40/67: per 36: 9.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.0 turnovers, 1.3 steals, 0.8 blocks
Looks like the refs let them play tonight - only six fouls on Boston and eleven on Dubs, and only 15 FTs total (8 by Dubs, 7 by Celtics).
Hmm guess I should go watch the run to start the 4th
That was fun! If only the GP3 three had gone down at 5:45 left to cut it to single digits...
Oh well, hopefully we beat them later in Boston with Steph reminding them of the 2022 finals ;)
Gui made five of his last six three-point attempts after bricking three wide open ones early on

They were experimenting with driving the offense with Horford and Porzingis postups. It sort of worked, but also nullifies their stretchy advantage
Couldn’t you bring the advantage back by involving them both in PnR?
Yes. Though Porzingis screens (on Day 1) don’t seem that hard to navigate for the defender. Hope they get more solid
Despite everything… you could actually see the vision with KP, if he ever plays more than 16 min a game and if Steph ever gets to play with him
Loved the fact that he could shoot over anyone guarding him in the paint. Gives Dubs another option for late-clock situations
BOS didn’t account for GSW playing 3x as hard… unfortunately resulting in running out of energy 3x as fast but it was fun

The sweet taste of another moral victory! Ugh.
I'm OK with the immoral victories.
Unfortunately, the Warriors are gonna have more of these this season as long as Butler and Curry are out.
Undefeated in scary end of game runs
Unstoppable baby at forcing opponent starters back into the game
It’s a great time out!
