The fact that that team can absorb losing one of their two main scorers is insane. Like you said, thank the basketball gods they didn't land another future star.
Right after the draft I was expecting Yax to hopefully give us 12 a game with good defense and I'd be happy so I don't know how I feel about him being this insanely good. It's not just empty numbers too. His impact has been felt all around and it's not like he's been perfect either. We might have net ourselves a legit franchise cornerstone
Yaxel and Podz really carried the day even with Steph not missing a shot, but good to see the Yaxel, Gui, Podz, and Horford lineup even dominate against the Nuggets with Jokic on the floor and Steph off.
Yax on the Thunder would have been downright terrifying so I thank the basketball gods every day for not allowing that to happen

Watched the Valkyries win and then needed to do some work. Came back to find that the Ws had won. What in the world... ?
Aaron Gordon use to take the Warriors lunch money the times he played against them these past seasons. He was a total non-factor.
I watched the first three and missed this one. WTH
I missed the first three (mostly) and watched this one. 😊

Season was over after 3 games... now we're back!!! Making the playoffs with Yaxel AND getting Jokic next year!!
Getting better every day.
How did we steal Yax at #11?
Dust May picks Johnson over Yaxel or Mara. Am I glad that he did.
Good question. I looked at how the other rookies that were drafted before Yaxel did, and here's what I found based on their stats:
AJ Dybantsa- Injured. Yet to make a debut with team.
Darryn Peterson- Struggled in the first two games, but did fine in the next two.
Cam Boozers- Inefficient, except for the game against the Dubs.
Caleb Wilson- Scoring lots of points.
Keaton Wagler- Okay overall, but he's getting to the FT line a lot.
Mikel Brown Jr.- Inconclusive. He only played two games and didn't shoot well in both of them.
Darius Acuff Jr.- Scored lots of points, but is inefficient.
Kingston Flemings, Morez Johnson Jr., Brayden Burries- Playing strictly in a backup role and not putting up a lot of numbers.
Final stats:
Warriors:
54.1% shooting (46/85 FGs), 22/44 threes, 20/21 FTs
45 rebounds (13 off.), 31 assists, 18 turnovers, 5 sgteals, 2 blocks
Nuggets:
50.0% shooting (42/84 FGs), 10/29 threes, 20/23 FTs
32 rebounds (10 off.), 31 assists, 12 turnovers, 13 steals, 6 blocks

54/50/95 - that'll do!

Man this is one busy pug tonight
Side note, does Niang's three celly deserve an audit? I feel like we have new geometry entering the parliamentary chat here
Always great to get win # 1.
Many more to come 'we believe' .
Yaxel learned how to pump fake. Really didn’t take that much time too
The Jimmy influence? Scary to think how good he’s gonna be with a full season of study under Jimmy, Dray, and Horford…
79-3 still on the table.
I liked the part where they won the game.
