[[ Tonight marks Pat Spencer's 29th game active for the Warriors. He has 21 left on his Two-Way deal, which would take him through Feb. 3rd, before he has to be sidelined.
The other Two-Ways, LJ Cryer (38 games) & Malevy Leons (36 games) have not used any of their available games. ]]
Big games from Post, Moody, and Podz. Can they be consistent? Can Post & Melton hit a shot? Post's shot is gone, but he shows up on defense and on the glass!
Also, the Warriors have a better net rating than 9 teams with winning records. Grr...
Not to brag, but I had the same reaction as Kerr. Having giggled merrily through the first half I saw that unforced turnover — right after the one before — and suddenly I was yelling and swearing in blind fury. I think Steve is hyper-aware of the way that momentum shifts out there, and for Dray to play (and talk) like he doesn’t think he needs to be cognizant of when the pivotal moments happen — the plays where you CANNOT throw the ball away — is just so infuriating.
Most electric play of tonights game - the alleyoop from Podz to GP2 - I dont think I have ever seen GP2 rise so high up and dunk so vehemently - seemed like he wanted to make a statement tonight- DUBS are back BABY!
Absolutely loved the bench reaction to Buddy's 3 in garbage time - these guys really respect each other. Also enjoyed bench reaction to Spencer's dunk attempt.
Kerr and Draymond come out with the same message in postgame: Argument out of competitive fire. Draymond reflective, said he took himself to the locker room to cool off. Feels like a self-aware step.
Surreal seeing J-Rich's kid playing against the Warriors. The Eastern Conference is an absolute joke. Also I don't think I'm alone in this opinion but I think Banchero is probably the most overrated player in the NBA.
It's the JV conference. Usually the WCF is the real finals (or sometimes the WC semis). Genuinely think the east would have way fewer titles if playoffs were not split by conference - they get to benefit from the bloodbath of great west teams before one of them makes the finals
Banchero seems more like a Julius Randle type and level of player to me. Agree that would not be a best player on a contender and maybe not even a 2nd best player on a contender, but would be very good for a 3rd best player.

OT: Why is Gui's wikipedia photo him in a Wizards shirt? Same Wikipedia page has no mentions connecting him to the Wizards
Edit 2: "Small forward Gui Santos being interviewed after a pre-draft workout with the Washington Wizards" (picture name when you click on it)
caption says "Santos in 2021"???
Edit: looks like a case for our brooding noir P.I. pug
Good find. We gotta get a better photo there!

Wait, you're Gui Santos??
trust me, I'm nowhere as good-looking as Gui (or Antonio Banderas)
So.... either you're good looking or trustworthy, but not both? :P Nah, I don't buy it. All of us Dubs fans are 10s.
That’s just what Gui would say!
ha ha haaa

Podz getting asked question after question about Draymond, must be annoying when the majority of questions aren't about the great game you played
Kerr and Draymond come out with the same message in postgame: Argument out of competitive fire. Draymond reflective, said he took himself to the locker room to cool off. Feels like a self-aware step.

It's hard to be a star in this league if you can't shoot or drive effectively and you're not an elite playmaker.
I truly believe we would be at least the 3 seed in the east. The level of competition is just so much lower, it’s absurd
It's the JV conference. Usually the WCF is the real finals (or sometimes the WC semis). Genuinely think the east would have way fewer titles if playoffs were not split by conference - they get to benefit from the bloodbath of great west teams before one of them makes the finals
0 chance LeBron makes 8 straight finals playing in the West or no conferences
Well yeah - he’d consistently be ousted by the dubs on their annual march to the finals
I think he can be really good in a Denver Aaron Gordon role. I don't think he's impressive enough to be the top dog on a contender
Banchero seems more like a Julius Randle type and level of player to me. Agree that would not be a best player on a contender and maybe not even a 2nd best player on a contender, but would be very good for a 3rd best player.
