I will allow that he didn't appear to be in a marshmallow mood. I enjoyed the overall chippiness of the 1st half though, especially Yaxel's 2nd quarter.
Podz looks really improved. If this is real, I'd really like the Dubs to be more aggressive in unloading some picks trying to trade KP. Podz and Yax really look like quality starters in that I can see them starting for every team in the league.
I think its important to contextualize the upcoming season with the changes in the draft lottery. No longer are teams incentivized to tank and consequently we don't have teams mortgaging off talent to ensure their shittiness and the average quality of each team is consequently higher.
Hence, this season won't have as many gimme's as we've had in previous seasons. My main concern is NOT getting a bottom 3 seed and our best bets for that is being better than at minimum three of Kings/Pelicans/Bucks/Mavericks. I think thats eminently doable as I think we're clearly better than the Kings and the Bucks at minimum!
Learn to live with the losses and enjoy the small victories of youth development. Its going to be a long season!
A nit: Zach edy several times was camping out in the lane. Rolled out his sleeping bag, started the campfire.
A couple times just in the last half of the 4th, over five seconds. Just seemed so obvious. Maybe it happens more often than I notice.
Allowable if he roasted marshmallows

Lottery, we are coming
Some stretches of great ball. Disaster finish.
Up 12 with 3.5 to go Steph losing Wells on a play going nowhere in his corner, closing late and sloppy giving up a 4 point play was just a disaster.
Usually he makes up for it with a killer shot. Didn’t today. Tough one.

Grizzlies coughed up 27 turnovers and still won the game. Unbelievable.
I know Eric's saving the flashy thingy but tonight might be a good night to drag it out.
We must ration that flashy thingie! Could have flashied both Game 1 and Game 2 and then our brains would be mush.
(Though honestly that isn’t that different from just watching G1 and G2)
Steph said he’s probably not playing tomorrow. 0-3 will be nice. Here I thought my bet for 40 wins was easy money
We probably lose even with Steph playing. Might as well feature Yax and Podz more. They were the best players tonight.
Well podz is out too lol
