I have the solution to all the Warrior problems, the perfect coaching strategy, the perfect trade and team building concepts. Championship stuff.

But do you really think I'm just going to state it all here? When Lacob deposits GM and head coach money in my account, he can have my gems of wisdom. I'm not just gonna tell him for free. I know you're reading this, Dunleavy. DM me.

I had a bad feeling when we were super hot offensively for basically a whole quarter and a half, and we couldn't pull away at all, because Portland just kept scoring themselves...

Daniel Gafford for Moses Moody. Who says no?

Kerr - what, somebody that tall, sorry - I dont understand how basketball can be played that way

I do. I don’t want to lose Moses, and I’m not sure a 6-10 230 traditional C with zero career threes is really the answer.

I don't want to lose Moses either but we have to give up something to get something back. Not sure anyone other than Moses has much trade value(JK sure, but his health and contract may be deterrents). I feel the Dubs defensive issues are caused principally by their offense with the ball often making rounds with not much penetration and a little too perimeter oriented. A good rim runner will help this offense a ton I feel. Unfortunately TJD is not it and even JK gets stuffed often by athletic bigs.

Gafford is just an exemplar, since the Mavs appear to be open for business; a more wishful candidate would be someone like Okongwu, but I don't think the Hawks will do that. Would just like someone in the team with a +ve offensive EPM other than Steph and Jimmy.

Dubs could really use Melton right now. Hope his rehab is progressing well.

Once again Warriors killed by lack of height. Out rebounded by 20. Gave up 21 Off Reb. Thats so many 2nd chance points. Playing 6'2 curry, 6'3 GP, 6'4 Podz at SF, 6'6 JB, 6'7 Dray in crunch time. How in the world is a 6'4 Podz supposed to guard or shoot over or outrebound a 6'9 Avdija? Its a joke. It's impossible to win with these midget ball lineups Kerr keeps throwing out there. Warriors had a chance to trade Podz or JK this offseason for Markkanen. That would've given them a championship caliber team. Why Kerr wants 7 guards on the roster is beyond me. Every player on the floor is outsized. Without Curry we'd be blown out of every game. Dubs had the same problem last year. And their answer was to reject trades, swap Looney for Horford, and draft another guard. So frustrating how Kerr and management just don't seem to get it.

I didn't like that loss either, but let's keep it real. The Warriors did not have the chance to trade Podz or JK for Markkanen. Not even both. I guarantee you they would have done that.

To think Avdija was the 9th pick in the Wiseman draft. He's an absolute stud. Not sure what the Wizards were doing letting him go. I'm now ok with getting rid of everybody but Steph and Dray(even Jimmy if the fish is big enough). We really need a shake up.

He was the best player on the court tonight. Our defense made him look like an all star.

Avdija is a modern NBA prototype, guard skills in a tall forward body.

Sigh. We apparently liked him a lot, too, along with Haliburton.

Stupid Wiseman fetish and/or stupid pandemic that didn’t allow us to work guys out and disabuse ourselves of our Wiseman fetish!

A voice inside my head is telling me that we are an old, small, and unathletic team, and that there is no way they are going to consistently do well against the young teams in the league. Can anyone tell that voice inside my head to shut up and prove that is not true?

The voice might be right. On the other hand, the optimistic (delusional?) take would be that JK tends to shine against young teams, and missing him as the third scorer is pretty tough. He may not magically make us a perfect team, but he might flip some close losses into close wins.

On the other hand, we did get 20 points from Podz tonight and it wasn’t enough.

Really fun to watch Steph do Steph stuff.

Really concerning when Steph scores 30+ and we are still losing games. Steph having to score 40+ for us to win is not sustainable.

Been saying it for years....Value possessions.

Also still annoying when Fitz remarks how Opposing Player X is shooting horribly for the season but has a career night against the Dubs...insinuating it's an outlier.....its not an outlier when it's happening to the Dubs game after game.

Moody's POA defense has been rough to watch.

Let's face it, everyone.

It's over.

I'm serious. It is just over. We can stop pretending. We can stop hoping. This is the Dubs team that we have, and it is over:

Honestly, I think we’re just not good enough. Sure, we have Steph, Butler, and Green. But the supporting cast just doesn’t cut it. We’re also too small playing among teams that are getting taller, bigger or leaner, and more athletic. Small ball won us championships in the past but it won’t today.

Yeah, not good enough to win four consecutive series. Any single series would be doable, just not gonna happen to stack four of them

I think the biggest issue outside of shot creation is we lack consistency from everyone not named Jimmy or Steph. One guy will have a great supporting game and then completely disappear for a few games before the next guy has a bounce back game. The Old 3 have been doing their jobs. Hopefully getting a healthy Melton back will help a bit but even then I still think we are one or two moves away from being a legit threat every night.

We all forgot how good Poole was the year we won - mainly he was a consistent scorer off the bench. Since then we have had no one. And as you say - absolutely no consistency from any of the YGs or supporting cast - on top of that no size or athleticism! Very poor team construction to support Steph!

I doubt the OG's would let this team drop into the lottery, and if MDJ tried to trade away assets to force a tank, there would be mutiny.
