Everybody knew going into the season that the Nuggets were going to be good if everybody was healthy and that the Warriors weren't a playoff team unless Steph was fully healthy. The non-Steph shooters had a rough night and that turned it into a blowout.
We could range anywhere from like 2-10 in seeding tbh. The west is wild, but the team is good. We knew the beginning of the season was going to be brutal, we should definitely have a couple more wins than we do but I’m not too worried yet.
The missing 3rd SPLASH BROTHER SHOOTER is up for trade by re-booting MAVS. Worth for our GM to be first to seize the opportunity FOR CONTENTION for 2 years, before the inevitable re-boot...STEPH/DRAY/JIMMY/HORFORD would be admirable REDEMPTION RECRUITERS...MAVS rebooting would be a great opportunity for JK to develop... Nay, reading in here the last year, I would not say expectations'' were met; the loss is understandable, the lack of competitiveness, though predictable by some, disappointing to most in here...
Man, this has been a rough patch. The team can still get right back in the mix of things, but they need to show through the next chunk of the season that this was just bad scheduling for an old, but still extremely smart, talented, and competitive, team.
It's painful to watch us try to get into our action without Steph's gravity. Teams know exactly who to sag off of and it ends in a low percentage shot the majority of the time. Let's end the PG Podz experiment while we're at it. He's a good player and will be good for us moving forward but that's just not his role in this league.
Ugly game, but I did at least like the aggressiveness from some of the Dubs guards. When Buddy and Richard were in the game together (and at the end with Richard and GP2), the Dubs were very effectively harassing the guy with the ball just after getting across half court. It resulted in several possessions where the Nuggets didn't have that much time on the shot clock to run a play. Of course, with Jokic out there, the Nuggets can easily create shots pretty much anytime they want to. But all in all, I think Stackhouse got to those guys and they bought in to serious pressure on the ball.
The FO and us fans guessed we would have a deep team. That depth has not been realised. While things will improve a bit when Hield and Horford's three comes back to them, I guess the Warriors will need to become active at the trade deadline and things will be more like the 2025 deadline rather than the two years before that.
For now, on to Indiana. I hope the hunger to avenge their embarrassing loss will get the team to pull out that W.

I'm tired, boss.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we are a play in team
There was a point last night when Draymond could barely jog up the court lol

Neither would I. That was always within the normal range of outcomes. The West is brutal.

That was an unacceptable performance. It felt to me like a lot of the team gave up
I wonder if one of the results of training everyone to shape their offense around Curry is that, when he’s gone, it is extra vulnerable.
Then, when you can’t score, your “best defense is a good offense” theory makes Denver look like Champs. (in fact, they may be)
Would have been a miracle if the team beat Denver on the road with Steph out. Expectations were met.

Hopium and Copium:
Curry, Horford, and Melton in Oakland will stand a good chance against these guys - especially if Draymond keeps shooting like this.

But then he’s not one of our best 2 shooting guards?
And then the backup PG is Pat Spencer? I thought he had a great game for him tonight, but that's not his role in this league either.
Ideally, it's Melton, if he can stay healthy. TBD.

We both agree there are too many connectors on this team. Hopefully that scorer is out there to really put this team together.
He is...and looking to get out of his current situation.
