Free agent guard Kendrick Nunn has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, source tells ESPN. Deal includes a player option. Nunn turned down significantly more money to chase a title with the Lakers.
OPJ signing is really good, he's as good as you can get on the vet min. Still, with his injury concerns and no Bazemore/Oubre we need to get more playable wings.
OPJ signing is great but I hope he is ready to start the season, he missed the last 23 games or so. Is there any reporting on his current health status?
Now please go get Robin Lopez, dump Paschall to the Jazz (and don't include Moody you fucking idiots, Moody>Kuminga), and get a TPE for Oubre.
Dray was awesome against Spain. His post D was fantastic as well as his ball movement and screen setting. That's the kind of guy you need to pair with all of the shooting talent.

Also Melo and Malik Monk to the Lakers. Lakers defense at times could be... interesting.
Oh well. Robin Lopez to the Magic for $5M (darn) and Mills to the Nets (!) for 12M, which we couldn't have done anyway.

Nice OPJ highlights here: https://youtu.be/MNiGOA56o6Y
Hit some big shots, D looks legit, can pass.
No lowlights, i.e. OPJ injured riding the pine.
Psyched he will try to turn around his career with the Dubs, a la Wiggins. We can make him look amazing if he can stay healthy.
I do think we need another passer, probably a PG. Need more ball movement when Steph and Dray sit. Agree that’s what we should do with the MLE.
S&T Oubre for Mills?
OPJ:
Just turned 28
Legit 6’-8” with a 7’-1” wingspan
40% career three point shooter on high volume
80% career FT shooter
9.0 rebounds per 36 last season
3.3 ast / 1.5 tov per 36 last season
Versatile defender
Big net plus on the floor (+4.4) throughout his career
We’re talking a no-brainer max player … if healthy. But even with the serious “if healthy” caveat, getting him on a vet min is an absolute home run.
France just defeated Italy in Saitama. OUTRAGEOUS performance by Batum. Bob Myers please write down this name: Simone Fontecchio.
I'm kinda leaning Milsap on MLE and Chriss on minimum now, sorry Iggy. That 40% from 3 last year is tempting as HELL.
My latest projection.
Roster:
Curry, Poole, Mills
Thompson, Moody, Lee
Wiggins, Oubre, Kuminga
Green, JTA, Porter
Looney, Wiseman, Paschall
Two-way:
Nico, Chriss
Congratulations to USA team for defeating a proud and experienced Spain. Rubio 38p.

OPJ - 14 and 28 games last two seasons (as per Slater). Let's just hope that between Klay, OPJ, Wiseman, Rooks development - few things break our way.
Can we have this version of Fitz this coming season?
