For those of you who missed it in this article, there is a Live Tracker and a link to our Free Agency Guide which extensively discusses Ty Jerome's situation.
Ty is gone. All the attention is now focused on Saric. I ask myself why is it taking so long for the Warriors to decide on a big man? A voice from within answers what else is new? The Warriors could never decide on a big man.
I wonder if it is Kerr that is blocking this move or is it simply that their query into Saric was met with complexities like 'where's the money?' If the Warriors want something for next to nothing, they do have TDJ. Who knows what surprises await us with our new draftees? Maybe this guy is really good in the paint. And, maybe Podz is the answer to a 3rd ball handler who can also shoot. I really prefer to stay away from re-treads and rely on new blood. I picked Thomas Bryant for our big man but he is probably not interested in a vet min. What good younger player would be interested in a vet min? No one! I'd even be happy with Jay Huff.
We're the poor SOBs waiting for the paying customers to finish dining. Then we get to pick over the leftovers. That's what happens when all you can pay is vet min.
The free agents I definitely want are Dario Saric and Terence Davis. The maybes are: Cory Joseph, Mason Plumlee, Omer Yurtseven, Mo Bamba, Robin Lopez, and TJ Warren.
Why are people clamoring for Terence Davis? He's not a PG. 1.3:1 AST:TO. 36% 3 PT shooter. Minus defensively. Takes a lot of undisciplined shots. 26 years old. Domestic violence charge in past. What am I missing?
Bamba would either be the next JaVale or the next Wiseman. Definitely not my first choice, but if he was willing to sign for cheap (big if), then it wouldn't be a big risk.
In one of my threads early on i said Wiseman reminded me of Bamba (not David Robinson) interesting tools but very raw. I think Wisemans ceiling is higher but I think Bamba especially on defense is more playable right now.
"[Wojnarowski] Sacramento Kings All-NBA C Domantas Sabonis has agreed to a contract renegotiation and extension for a total of $217M over five years — including $195M in new money, his agents Greg Lawrence and Jason Ranne tell ESPN."
For anybody else wondering how contract renegotiations work in the NBA:
"Most notably, NBA teams and players can only renegotiate a contract to pay a player more money in the years he was already under contract, preventing negotiations in which a general manager threatens to cut a player unless he reduces his salary. Additionally, any increase in a player’s salary via renegotiation can only come via cap space, so the team in question has to possess that cap space at the time and be willing to use it for this purpose."
Alright Len is out. Sacramento really knocking it out of the park. At this point i dont care outside of not signing Lamb OR Jamychael Green. I didn’t think there was this many above Minimum salary slots still available
"[Charania] Free agent center Alex Len has agreed to a one-year, $3.2 million contract to re-sign with the Sacramento Kings, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium . Agent Michael Lelchitski of @SIGSports negotiated the deal for Len’s return."
The 76ers opted not to tender two-way qualifying offers to last season’s two-way players, Louis King and Mac McClung, making them unrestricted free agents.

If you are having trouble opening twitter links, it’s probably because Twitter has new post reading limits. Yes, it’s stupid.
(don't reply directly to this pin) <——
What’s left? current available free agents that i would like
C: Christian Wood
PF: Saric
SF: TJ Warren, Terrence Ross
SG: will Barton, Lonnie walker
PG: Michael Carter Williams
I know Lonnie Walker burned us, but it’s upsetting if we have to pick up Lakers scraps :(
The Heat sign Thomas Bryant, 2 yrs/$5.4M. What a bargain!!

True enough. The vet min ship has sailed. Players want $$$.
i guess it’s a quiet day for us
Can’t wait for Keyshawn Johnson’s new book “Just Give Me the Damn Severance Check”
hey that's the title of my book
Please sign somebody, I'm running out of dumb memes! (probably a good thing, now that I think about it . . .)

Youve coverer it all.

Wiseman is the poor mans Bamba
I don't know who you just insulted more :P

Given who is available, my current pitch is . . .
Guard: Terrance Davis/Kendrick Nunn (Eric Gordon is the hail mary attempt)
Wing: TJ Warren/Gallinari
Big: I'm assuming Saric is locked for now.
Great list

From https://theathletic.com/4134410/2023/01/29/leroux-myles-turners-unusual-deal-could-be-a-win-win-for-him-and-pacers/
Kings moves:
Kept: Barnes, Sabonis, and Lyles
Lost: Dellavedova and Metu
Got: Sasha Vezenkov
Pending: Terence Davis (UFA), Neemias Queta (RFA), Keon Ellis (RFA)
They also traded for Chris Duarte
Signals that the Kings are done making moves
Patty Mills on the tradeblock. I'd take him as a Ty replacement, but the only matching salary the Dubs would have is JK, and that's a hard no.
Wave & sign?
yeah we don't really have anyone left to trade.. vet mins or blockbusters only
Saric and Gallanari still in play 🤞🏻
And what up with Harrell these days? Is he worth a nudge with his history? I always quite liked him as a player
[Wojnarowski] Free agent G Dante Exum – a former No. 5 overall pick – is returning to the NBA on a guaranteed deal with the Dallas Mavericks

Boo.
That's a paycut!!! His last contract paid him $3.8M/yr for 2 years. But it is more than the minimum.
I found our playmaker!!!

Paging Dino….
Return of the Mac!
