"[Wojnarowski] Free agent guard Seth Curry has agreed on a two-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks, co-head of @CAA_Basketball Austin Brown tells ESPNNews"
Has Gallo been officially bought out yet? Also, Schroeder to TOR also means Otto is likely not being bought out (even though that was not ever likely).
"[Wojnarowski] Free agent G Dennis Schroder has agreed to a two-year, $26M deal with the Toronto Raptors, agent Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tells ESPN News"
At least Schroder is going East instead of staying in the West. Schroder is an annoying player to deal with since he always finds a way to get several FTs against us.
"[Brandon Rahbar] The Rockets 2024 1st rounder (protected 1-4) that OKC owns just became more likely to convey. But also likely remains a lottery pick. The sweet spot for OKC."
"[Quinn] The Raptors got nothing for Kawhi Leonard, Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka, Danny Green or Fred VanVleet. They turned Kyle Lowry into Precious Achiuwa"
Until a source gets something provably right, I assume they are full of crap. Now this @droppingdimes02 guy can’t miss. Called Harden to Rockets hours ago before everyone.
FYI, his unconfirmed (as yet) reports:

Vetmins wanting to get steady play minutes are gonna hesitate coming to Warriors. If we compare to 20-21championship season, CP3 takes Poole's minutes, OPJ and Belli minutes and more go to JK and Moody (not the same positions of course). There is JTA and DLee minutes and Steph, Dray and Klay probably play lesser minutes. Does that add up to minutes vets may want is a good question.
Not getting Saric seems like it would be a disaster at this point. Landale is probably a pipe dream and then slim pickings. Jerome also kinda seems like a necessity.
I know Gabe Vincent just had a couple nice playoff series, but: we’re talking about a skinny 6-3 guard who scores at low volume on crap efficiency and is a poor passer and rebounder. For 3/$33M? LOLakers?
He could be the next Timothy Mozgov. Mozgov played great for several games in the 2015 Finals, didn't play quite as well the following year, but subsequently inked a $50 million three year contract with the Lakers before quickly drifting into obscurity.
Okay everyone, shove over to the new thread https://dubnationhq.com/p/draymond-green-is-returning-re-signs?sd=pf
There are (1) too many comments here and (2) a surprising number of people coming to DNHQ to find out if Dray re-signed.
Oshae Brissett to the Celtics
All is right in the world. Needs to get that promotional gig setup with Kitty O’Shea’s

Any numbers on this deal?

Man, going from a vet min to $26 mil. Good for Schroder.
Lakers got Vincent but lost Schroder. Good.
Damn but I guess he was never close to realistic. Dennis Smith Jr it is.

Who does FVV put them above, though?
Hey just popping in to confirm -- Draymond has signed an extension, yeah?
Yes
Confused why the DDV to NYK signing hasn't happened yet

They got a title!
Yeah I get what he is saying but the value of even one single title is so easily discounted by certain people, it's a puzzling thing.
Plumlee, Bamba, and Saric have not been taken yet. Hmm....
Some Warrior related rumors, zero idea if credible:

Miami letting Vincent go screams (ok maybe not screams, might suggest the possibility of) Dame trade in the works.
That would be so good. Him and JB, great fit
If it was credible it got deleted pretty quick
Yeah I mean he has a blue check so it's probably bullshit, hard for me to imagine how the Warriors could be a player in the Brook Lopez sweepstakes
The "hold up on Saric because Landale is available" thing could be plausible though?
Is Landale really better than Saric?
Probably yes overall but not at shooting.
I feel like they should try to sign both, but I guess in terms of minutes it's one or the other since Saric probably does end up playing the 5
Seems to have a higher motor and better defensively. Not sure about the 3pt % though.
Ok Jock is not a stretch. 29%

I mean, if they believe in themselves maybe they think they can take Moody or Kuminga's minutes. Kerr will play the player who earns the minutes...
Not stretch big and ball handler, tho. Warriors have class role need there. It’s not starting role but there’s a role.
Heavy veteran top 6 - plenty of mins RS to go around

I assume Bamba's going to want, um, Mo money than we can offer?
If they miss out on Saric, I'd take a Plumlee
Honestly not getting picked apart by a Plumlee would be boon enough
I'm surprised no one has picked up Saric yet. Is it because of his lackluster defense?
Still recovering from an injury, right? If so, this could be a win-win (cf. OPJ, DDV).
Once Harden opted in, FVV was like https://media.tenor.com/bZOgpEeHZfcAAAAC/swim-swimming.gif
Rockets finally did something.

Yeah I am very happy the missed on Brown and got Vincent
I hope Vincent becomes the type of player who does well with the Heat but not with anyone else.
He didn’t do well with the Heat, tho.
(Career per 36)
13.3 pts on .527 (!!!!) TS
2.9 reb
4.0 ast / 2.0 tov
-2.4 net points per 100
So he’s a poor man’s Poole (who doesn’t suck at defense)
I'd rather they give the money to him than some of the other options.
Really hoping someone throws the bag at Reaves and tests them though.
