A list of all Explain One Play articles and videos is at The new Explain One Play index.

The Warriors survived a blazing hot shooting start by the Mavericks in Game 2 2022.05.20.DAL-GSW, thanks to the hustle of Kevon Looney, the finesse of Steph Curry and the shock playoff debut of rookie Moses Moody. As the game went on, Steph found increasing success busting Dallas’s ICE drop and soft double team defense against him.

With Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, and Klay Thompson. With Jalen Brunson, Maxi Kleber, Reggie Bulloick, Dwight Powell and Luka Doncic.

With all this winning, it's easy to overlook the fact that the Dubs have had a lot of sloppiness. I see this as a good thing as there's room for improvement moving forward. Perhaps just in time for the Celtics we'll see the finely-tuned Dubs machine locked in for close to 48 minutes a night.

Just rewatched the game. That win was just nuts. There were enough highlights (on both sides) for three games.

Wiggins may not be a Luka stopper, but his defensive effort was a big part of the win. I love that dude.
