For anyone jonesing for more basketball, Big 3 is kicking off on CBS momentarily. Last season’s MVP? Joe Johnson. (Jarret Jack did play but that was earlier, my mistake).
In case you cannot read the Athletic, here’s the gist of one of their recent articles that captured the emotion of this victory. Re-live the end!
“Game 6 was in the bag. The Celtics emptied their bench, resigned to the dominance of Golden State. In any other situation, Warriors coach Steve Kerr would’ve emptied his, too.
But not on this night. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green remained on the court Thursday though victory was well secured. They earned this, the right to bathe in the silence they’d spawned in TD Garden, the privilege to soak in their anointing. For they are the pillars on which this Warriors dynasty was built. They are the common denominators on the court as the franchise elevated from the cellar to the suites.
This was their encore performance. And because the occasion demanded such, Kerr subbed in Andre Iguodala, who spent his last great NBA years helping maximize their potential. So Curry, Thompson and Green got to share the moment with their favorite OG.”
Let’s continue non-draft discussions here and then move over to the comments of Daniel’s piece which is probably coming out today. (He has so many receipts to process you know.)
One of the best things that happened as the Finals progressed was us taking Derrick White out of the game completely. Get the f**k out of here with those bulls*it shots in Games 1-3 lol
This was my post draft excitement post for Moody. His ring count starts. I think he’s gonna have 6+ (Hopefully all w Warriors!).

Having watched the first game, and some interviews of Moody I just love him. He seems so mature, so smart. The game he plays is so easy to adapt and perfectly complimentary. My bold prediction is this guy will have a storied basketball career. He will play on multiple championship teams (hopefully all w Warriors!). I see the beginning of a story of a guy who played in high school w Cade Cunningham, Scottie Barnes, then immediately w Steph, Klay and Dray in the pros and kept playing on great teams w great players. (Again, hopefully w Warriors and the future greats are Wiseman and Kuminga!). Everything about him screams winner to me.
I don’t listen to the talking heads ever (not enough time), but here is Colin cowherd singing the Warriors’ praise. Is this normal? https://youtu.be/LImBjJqXoP4
Explain: Steph Curry and Warriors record-setting 21-0 run to win the championship

During their Charlotte Hornets days, Rex Chapman used to drive around with Dell Curry and Muggsy Bogues "thinking we were hot-shit NBA players."
@RexChapman: "It turns out the best player was strapped in a car seat behind us: Stephen Curry." 🤣
Finally watched the video.
Sometime next year, when we lose three in a row, I'm going to be calling for the Canadian Politeness defense.
Kinda bummed no more basketball. At least I have a boatload of NWSL games to get me through the summer.

> After the devastating news of Klay Thompson's injury, @Sedano thinks the future of this Warriors dynasty is grim.
> "Long term, I don't feel like they can be a championship contender potentially anymore."

Shannon: “I just don’t know what the knock on Steph is now.”
Skip: “What’s the knock on Steph?? What’s NOT the knock on Steph is the better question!!!”

There are haters, and then there’s Skip Bayless. And this dude gets paid big bucks to spew this shit.
