Explain One Play: Warriors rookie Moses Moody makes an impact, ready or not
Moody played complex defense, was in the wrong place for a lot of offense and somehow helped expand an 8 point lead to 18 points.

This is a deep dive into the key minutes that Warriors rookie Moses Moody played in the game against Oklahoma City. It was Moses Moody's first real extended play in a serious situation. He came in at the beginning of the second quarter and left with about three to go. So that's a really heavy chunk of time against a Thunder team that the Warriors definitely had to take seriously in order to beat. Moody would later come into play the whole fourth quarter, but that was garbage time.
We're going to see a lot of confusion on offense, which is understandable because Moody hasn't been with the team very long .
But in the end, moody came in when the Warriors were up 8 and he left with the Warriors up 18, so in the end, the lineup had an effect. And I don't think anyone was expecting Steve Kerr to stick with Moody for nine straight minutes so he couldn't have been doing that badly.
Co-starring Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Andre Iguodala, Otto Porter Jr, Nemanja Bjelica, Kevon Looney, who all took turns guiding and pointing out where Moody should be on the court and also saying heck with it and trying to create something at the end of the shot clock. Plus bonus Klay Thompson celebration.

Seems like a good move for the Warriors to send Moody and Kuminga to Santa Cruz. They need to work and I would expect Wiseman to be joining them soon when he is cleared. Perhaps by the trade deadline, we'll see what this group learned down there. Warriors should be feeling good about themselves. Barring injuries, they should be very competitive with their new additions and the new Draymond Green who actually takes some shots this year.
After watching snippets of the unwatchable TWolves-Magic game yesterday, I'm enjoying the Rockets-Lakers game tonight. The Rockets are going to be dangerous as hell in a couple of years. Two highlights for me: 1) Sengun throwing a no-look pass backwards over his head and out of bounds and 2) The Rockets backing way up and coaxing Westbrook into bricking a three to end the first quarter.
