Looks like LeBron remembered he's good, this past week or two. 43-14-4 in 29 minutes tonight. Granted, against Portland, but still. Old Graybeard still got it I guess.
Why do I get so mental when local media talks about Draymond? Ok, leave that for another day. What I will say is this. For everyone talking about the Warrior's roster the last couple years, what they should do, what they shouldn't do, what's best for Steph, blah-blah-blah, it all comes down to one thing. There has been one constant since KD left. The Warriors front office and, more importantly, their 3 star players, BELIEVE, without question, without doubt, that the golden triumvirate of Steph-Klay-Dray WAS-IS-And will continue to be a Championship Core. Folks like Nick F and pretty much every radio sports jock on the Warriors flagship station believed otherwise. They all knew what was better for Steph. They all knew that they weren't good enough without a 4th Mega-Super-Star. They believed 2 days of Draymond and Wiseman for LaMarcus Aldridge was 2 days worth of good radio.
Every move, everything the Warriors do at this point, revolves around the singular belief - held by the entire organization - that the Steph-Klay-Dray trio is as good as any other trio the NBA has to offer.
Some investment advise for the new year. Invest in Crow. 'Cuz there is a lot of crow gettin' 'et in 2022.
What's the background music in the E1Ps? Some hypnotic Wii game on Pause soundtrack? I mean the video work and commentary is the bomb, but I am making sure that that music is playing when I am on my deathbed. So chill. Speaking of deathbed, whole family on isolation after son and girlfriend tested positive over Christmas. But all is well, I got E1P rolling in the background. And on that super positive note, Happy New Year Dub Nation. 2022 is going to be grand.
Thanks for the breakdown Eric. I really liked the Kobe clip as a point of comparison for JKs baseline move. What stood out to me is how much distance JK covered to execute the move as compared with Kobe. JKs athleticism is off the charts.
Anyone know what's up with Landry Shamet? (4 points in 23 min., -12 today)
I thought he had lots of potential when he was with the Clippers a few years ago, and that he was a nice pick up for Phoenix, but it feels like he's regressing instead of improving.
Maybe just too many moves around the NBA and still getting adjusted to Phoenix's system? Too big of a defensive weakness?
I put some extra love in this one. Thanks for your patience: https://dubnationhq.com/p/warriors-top-defense-faces-top-offense
Happy new year! If you're wondering where the preview is, it's coming, just a bit later :)
Much love to you, Dub Nation!

Kuminga's expression the moment Bjeli grabs him in a friendly "head kiss" grab is hilarious.
Pretty persuasive argument for Desmond Bane as MIP from bballbreakdown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdtvsUjxT8I&ab_channel=BBALLBREAKDOWN
Warrior New Year's Resolutions (Or more like New Year's Wishes) Thread for 2022.
I'll start the bidding off with: Klay comes back and is his old self within three weeks.

Down go the Suns. You hate to see it...

Celtics beat the Suns 123-110.
Stop fouling, Suns. You have already lost this game.
56.9 to play
Celtics up by 13
Aaaand Boston should hang on here. I'll take any extra cushion we can get in the #Race4First
