Explain One Play: Steph Curry dominates LeBron and Westbrook down the stretch without scoring
All the way to a triple double, with lots of help from his teammates
A list of all Explain One Play articles and videos is at The new Explain One Play index.
This is a video analysis of the last 6 minutes of the thrilling 2021.10.19.GSW-LAL game.
Steph Curry had a frustrating game that ended with his cathartic yells at the Staples Center crowd. The Lakers defense keyed in on Steph this whole game. And they sent two players, three players shadowing him. So it was hard for Steph to get any kind of rhythm and he shot pretty badly, but he's still was useful through his good passing, play-making and screening, all the way to a triple double.
Down the stretch in winning time, Steph managed to dominate the game without scoring and created the advantages that his teammates translated to baskets and a great win.
Co-starring: Nemanja Bjelica, Draymond Green, Damion Lee, Andrew Wiggins, plus LeBron James and Anthony Davis being pissed at Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony.

Apricot imbued with that Steph Swagger. From the Youtube comments on the short version -
some dude: Great analysis Bro. You should be a coach yourself
Apricot: You are too kind! But I’m not smart enough to be a coach and I’m too handsome
I effectively double-consume E1Ps now: the free version appears on youtube before I go to bed and then the subs version when I wake up. Are there adverse side-effects for taking double the daily recommended amount?
