Is it just me, or did the celebration audit actually feel like it was an audit for safety this time?

Pacers beat the Clippers 131-130. Warriors are now only 1.5 games behind the Clippers and the Kings.

If the Warriors fully turn around the season, these last few games will be a huge part in it. Their level of execution has ramped up. Obviously Dray has gone supernova, but Poole's really improved his execution and decision making, Klay seems to be providing more solid play, and the bench has really started to gell. I also love the defensive intensity starting to manifest across more guys.

If they can stay focused (and Dray get more rest), the Warriors might just pull off what the Celtics tried to do last year.

Young guys are obviously coming along really well but shout out to the OGs, Dray always with the leadership and HoF defense and 2-day Klay with another gem after a rest game

Correction on the video. For most players who run it, it's called the Cyclone play. When Kuminga is the finisher, it's called the Bomb Cyclone.

If Poole would just slow down a bit at the end of close games and trust his teammates superpowers he could avoid a lot of meltdowns. It’s getting predictable that the W’s will have to overcome at least one of his misfires in the final two minutes if they are going to win. I know he can make FTs but most of the time I cringe when I see him still out there.

Report from Chase last night of stuff not captured on video:

During the fourth quarter, when the outcome was very uncertain, Steve Kerr had tried everything. He yelled and gestured wildly during one time out. He calmly drew up plays the next. Then, during the next timeout, the Chin balancer came on.

This guy: https://twitter.com/chinbalancer?s=21&t=0al72VwbVhIK6ce1D-FMvw.

He balanced a bike, a wheelbarrow, a ladder, then a giant folding table on his chin. The crowd went nuts. Steph stood 15 feet away in awe. DDV was pretending to look toward the team and coaches but you could see his head was swiveled to look at the chin balancer. How would the Dubs respond? Would they lose focus because of the chin balancer?

No. Greatness was met with greatness. Inspiring plays were called forth: the DDV steal and 3, the JK to Klay for the corner 3, the Poole going 200mph throws ball into 15th row...er....scratch the last.

Kudos to the chin balancer. Give the man a 10 day.

I didn't see the game which is a good thing as I probably would have been yelling at the screen during the 2nd and 3rd quarter and had a Fitz like meltdown in the 4th. The highlights were enough excitement. As far as I am concerned this season is already a success as win or lose the Warriors are always entertaining.

Your E1P’s have finally enlightened me as to the critical importance of bench celebrations. They most recent win streak is obviously a result of Steph’s HOF veteran leadership of the bench celebration. Early in the season Steph was always on the court and the youth brigade and new guys didn’t celebrate well. That obviously sapped the momentum of Steph and others on the court and they kept losing.

Finally, Genius Kerr figured it out and benched Steph so that he could lead the bench celebrations. lo and behold, they go on their first true win streak of the season.

Lightyears, I say. And just one more accolade for Steph in his stupendous career.

One thing that E1P really points out ... how much better Dame could be if he cared about the defensive end. There are many things that separate him from Steph, but you could argue that's one of the most important.

Steph may not be the best defender in the world, but when push comes to shove, he tries very hard.
