Someone on the kings Reddit brought up this thread because apparently kings might look into Mark Jackson. I didn't know of this story with Steph. It's honestly hilarious lol
Deep dive draft stuff but whatever, the Warriors aren't playing until Saturday.
Peyton Watson just declared for the draft and hired an agent, as a UCLA fan he's one of the few players I have an opinion about at this point. His shooting stats are absolutely horrific and he was lost on defense a lot, but the kid has some serious smoothness, length, and athleticism to his game. Projected as a lottery pick before the season started but now should be available around the Warriors' first round pick (perhaps even their second round pick?). Maybe he's the new Jaden McDaniels (could also apply to Pat Baldwin)?
If you told me that the Warriors decided to take a flyer on this kid and give him to Mahlalela and their development staff, my immediate reaction with the pick itself would not be disappointment. Still prefer they trade the pick though.
I'd be a lot more sanguine about the Warriors chances in the playoffs if they had issued a positive update after Curry was supposedly re-evaluated on the 11th. Instead it is crickets chirping. It doesn't make much sense as gamesmanship as the Nuggets presumably would guard Poole in a similar fashion to guarding Curry.
I know their season only just ended, and it's fun to dunk on the Lakers and take our victory laps for our "Westbrook won't work there, what are you doing?" takes, but can we agree to get our last dunks in today and move on tomorrow?
With this whole Mark Jackson rumors circulating with the lakers, you still keep hearing Kenny Atkinson name bandied about. That would make the most sense for the Lakers and their personnel but it would doubly suck for us
I'm in an odd frame of mind about this year's playoffs.
Not nearly as nervous as in previous years, because the expectations are fairly low.
But, at the same time, given health, I think they'll be pretty good. And, I really want this core to get a fourth championship. So, figure that one out.
It's a very yin-yang-y year.
Part of it is that I think Poole and Kuminga are going to blow the doors off the league next year (as in borderline all-star players). So, there's hope for the future, even if it doesn't get done this year.
"I think it's unfortunate, to be honest, because I've never had an issue with any of my coaches before," Westbrook said on Monday after his exit interview with the Lakers' front office. "I'm not sure what his issue was with me or I'm not sure why, but I can't really give you an answer to why we really never connected."
His issue with you was you aren't as good as you think you are, Russ. Happy to help.
Who are people rooting for in Clippers-Wolves and is it relaled to GSW?
Nets beat the Cavs 115-108
The big lead that the Nets built up in the 1st quarter is slowly decreasing.

The classic non update but as expected
