Moses Moody cloned himself during that celebration!

There are the usual ways to go about building a Championship squad: found money in the Draft, build a Banana Boat, Dynasty care and feeding, generational player. But what we might be seeing from the Warriors Org is “ come for the Joy, stay for the Parade”, of course it started with some drafts and a generational player but The Chef has added that elusive ingredient of Joy, without it you don’t get OPJ, Bjelly, and maybe even Iguodala signing up practically for free. You also wind up freeing players like JTA and GP2 from a weight of expectation that they will fit as cogs in the machine. I believe Kerr has been wise enough and humble enough to give joy its rightful place alongside the Xs and 0s.

If Looney's midrange can come along at a somewhat consistent rate that would be a great bailout option for us

Quick pause to Warriors content . . .

I've long stanned Hartenstein and he's performed extremely well in damn near every stop (even in teams where he wasn't given much of a chance). According to EPM, Hartenstein is the only player in the NBA in the top 80% percentile in BLK%, STL% and mid range shooting. He is in the 97% percentile in BLK%, in the 87% percentile in STL%, and in the 100% percentile in mid range shooting (this one is a little suspect).

I'm only bringing him up because, its insane how much he reminds me of Bogut.

Seems like JTA got away with a hook on that post up.

When Memphis was ahead in the game I had that feeling of "Man, if only we had our guys" meaning Poole Wiggins Klay Andre etc. etc. But in this breakdown I felt like "Man, I'm glad we had our guys," meaning JTA GPII and of course Steph and Draymond. PS sorry: Hi, Looney, I never shout you out but you're having a hell of a year.

The win last makes me think they are cool with phoning it in on Xmas v. PHO. We know PHO is on their level. We know there is a good chance we'll see a series against them in the playoffs. No reason to break your back trying to beat them on the road with no Poole, Wiggs, DLee, Andre (not to mention Klay and J Dub). They laid it out against MEM because, even short handed, they are home and MEM isn't a team on their level. They won, they showed their mettle, and that sets up PHO as a found money game. Have fun, get everyone some run, and if for some reason you are within striking distance in the 4th, give it a go. But I don't expect to see 48 min of the kind of intensity we saw last night.

Loved JTA confidently shaking off his earlier struggles and executing at a high level in crunch time. Hopefully (COVID permitting) he can leverage the extra minutes he’ll be getting over the next ten or so days into finding his late season 2021 form more regularly.
