Explain One Play: Andrew Wiggins drives Warriors past OKC; Draymond blitzes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Never look down on a road victory
A list of all Explain One Play articles and videos is at The new Explain One Play index.
The Warriors just squeaked out a win against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Andrew Wiggins had a lot to do with that. So we're going to focus in on his play down the stretch where his driving and posting up created scores, and his passing and gravity created open shots for others. Along the way we’ll look at the hustling switching blitzing defense led by Draymond Green which contained the dynamic Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
At Dub Nation HQ, people are a little confused about how Wiggins did not score exactly 17 points, because that's his destiny, but it's great that he went over today because the Warriors needed every little bit to get ahead of a hustling, hot-shooting OKC team.
Co-starring Stephen Curry the defender-magnet, Damion Lee the clutch shot-maker, Juan Toscano-Anderson the other clutch shot-maker, Andre Iguodala the other other clutch shot-maker, and Josh Giddey the picked-on defender with cameos by Otto Porter Jr and Jordan Poole.

Yeeesh, I took the liberty of watching the LAL-OKC highlights. Lots of pain for everyone including those ending airballs and RWB getting chucked and then snapping at the ref when he wouldn’t go (fine?). The icing on the cake is the final margin of victory came off a completely lucky 3 pt chuck by SGA to end Q3.
Funny story time!!
I was on my way back from work jamming to Mrs. Officer, which is a catchy Lil Wayne song about him having a . . . ahem . . . "relationship" with a female cop.
While, I was bumping that at a stop light, a police car rolls up next to me . . . with a female police officer. Lil Wayne was singing "wee uh weeh uh" in the background and we locked eyes. 😂
My light turned green, but before I turned, I very calmly stated . . . "Gives fuck the police a whole different meaning", and drove away. I heard her cackling behind me as I made the turn.
